Story #4 - She probably doesn't want her other boyfriend(s) to know about OP.
That last story was pretty painful. Unfortunately, the reward for going above and beyond these days is more work without additional compensation. Everyone will complain about being short staffed, but they won't hire for simple job, and they'll gladly push the consequences of their financial incompetence onto the workers by firing or withholding pay. I hope that the poster of the story finds a new job where they're valued, or creates their own business that allows them to thrive and be the responsible businessperson they want to be.
It's why you have to be a mercenary for yourself. If you don't like where you are then you need to be looking for something better. I went through half a dozen jobs in 4 years for various reasons before landing where I am. Now I make plenty, enjoy my work, and have upward mobility.
That 4th guy was just being used for free stuff, she only "became official" to stall the breakup.
Reminds me of a post I saw where a guy saw his number in his girlfriend's phone came up as "free food" she was stringing him along so she could eat out for free.
Yeah and instead of figuring that out, dummy asked her to be his girlfriend and nothing changed. Saying to just do text and not voice calls suggest that she was concerned that if they spoke on the phone, OP might hear another guys voice in the background. Guy never questioned anything but just pushed forward.

Sadly, that is typically a lie the parents use, and the truth is quite far removed from that. The kid is usually a little hot headed devil like his or her parents, they typically have social/behavioral issues in school, and their grades are subpar.

She clearly doesn't care. Her son could easily get his ip leaked with all the trash talk, and she let him on voice chat and discord, when he's probably younger than ten.

WoW-Player since 2006 here. I used to frequently give stuff away to small or new players, but a couple of years ago I was disheartened to learn that more and more people just aren't as thankful for freebies anymore and instead turn rude or straightup threatening.
It's been quite a while now, but I still love helping out players who are nice 😊

I play Roblox and I’m not gonna lie. I see the stuff all the time and I’m kind of like an enforcer because when I see someone about to get scammed I don’t trust them. They’re trying to scam you and then this Karen of the person who was trying to scam this person on voice chat, and started yelling at me. Edit holy crap thanks my friend just died like 20h ago this makes me feel better thankyou for making me feel better. Edit 2 his sister died in a fiery car crash and he stopped himself in the night. He was in the hospital for about two weeks. It’s sad to see him go like this he killed himself fly high jay fly high.

As a roblox enjoyer that has been playing for 6 years I can totally see this happening, entitled kids everywhere, but since I play fighting games the most all I do is destroy them until they ragequit. If you play roblox here's a tip when dealing with toxic little brats, if they say the same thing 4+ times in the span of 30 or less seconds you can report them for "bullying" with the description being solely "spam" and in less than 2 mins they should be kicked because they got warned, it's extremely funny to do this to kids, I'm speaking from experience.

In the last story, is it possible that the OP's employer has been giving faked, negative references? I mean why would a potential employer who apparently had been head over heels about the OP suddenly do a 180 und not want them? Plus the OP und all of their co-workers need to file a lawsuit against the company for back wages.
that's what I was thinking! It felt like the employer really enjoys the OP's excessive, more-than-paid-for work and is doing everything they can (ie, giving horrible references to possible new employers) to keep them there.

I used to trade on a zombie game. Gun and melee skins with rarities, paying what I had to to work towards an end goal. I had quite a few entitled kids towards me: one acted cocky because I said I had enough to afford what he was selling, he saw I had enough, declined and trashed on me like it was my fault for wanting his object, another saying I didn't have "good purple" skins when that wasn't the case, then calling me a scammer. So i relate with that first story guy 100%.
Just yesterday played a game on roblox and over 10 players were like “you’re good at this so give me your stuff for free”, some went as far as calling me the devil because I play the game for myself and not for online strangers
Honestly when people beg they are just lazy and don’t want to spend the time grinding and working for th e Items. What i have learned is that the rare Items that you worked For are the most valuable to you

For the first one i can relate but it was alot better bc someone was asking to offer for a item in a game that was really expensive but i turned them down and just gave them some more stuff to offer with and instead of her saying she wanted the item not the extras she thanked me alot! Man i feel bad for the ppl who have to deal with this

i’ve stopped playing jailbreak for quite some time now and decided to hop on recently to see whats new and I was blown away by pretty much everything that had changed, it lagged a ton ofc which is one of the reasons I stopped playing and also ever since you couldnt spawn car’s near the opposite team, the gamepass for the mobile garage became completely useless. So many people were gawking in chat when I pulled the arachnid out.

I always doubted the legitimacy of these stories, but hearing roblox jailbreak just convinced me its legit. Trading is a legitimate part of the game and the fact he played it in 2018 makes the guy an OG. At least I am more OG, as I played the game in 2017 hehe
for the first story, i know exactly wht game that is, and even if OP had been willing to give up his torpedo, the computer wouldn't allow it cause of such a huge difference in value. Idk exactly how much it is, but im pretty sure that the computer only allows its if the lower value side is worth about 70% as the higher valued side. So Op couldn't give the kid his torpedo even if he wanted.

In the last story I think OP needs to stop putting his current employer and quit. Chances are his employer is giving negative reviews on him so he doesn't get hired. Also in most countries it is illegal to work for free... so he either needs to report it or quit ASAP!!

Yea, meet a spoiled kid that just ask for my high ranked gear in a game for nothing, i answer no and they immediately said "Huhu" then i saw a chat that says "Turn off your mic, [Player name]"guess who is the [Player name], yes it's that same spoiled kid that get his mother in for no reason, result is the mother screaming on the mic... while there's a lot of player using voice chat, they immediately warn the mother to stop screaming or they will report to the Admins (one of the player knows an offical admin), result is an argue between the kid and the mother before the mic turns off. (I know this from my friend who plays the same game in the same server with me, just with voice chat on)
