It's really nice that we're seeing Euorack modules of this standard coming down to sensible ( hobby ) prices. Makes it so much easier on the old bank balance.
Damn, I wasn't that sold on this until you patched that fold into the drive and it just RIPPED!! Color me impressed!
Sounds bloody ace!! Looks like my kind of module - plenty of controls and CV, no screen or menu diving at all. Perfect. I think I want one ;-)

I've come back for another look. I really cannot understand why I "dismissed" this, on first hearing. It just shows how rubbish I am... I really enjoyed my second listen! This thing is nuts and great value. Yet another module to add to the list of future purchases I can't afford right now (because I've spent up!). Great job, as usual, Robin!

I'm literally here thinking the same. I want this but I just realized I finally filled all the space in my current Cre8 audio case. Just seeing this module has me immediately considering a second case haha. It's never going to stop. It's bad.
Love Pittsburgh, and this sounds like a great oscillator, but I’ve got three Primary Oscillators and a couple Crows and I’m not the target market for this module….. sounds up to pbh standards for sure though.

when I first saw the module I thought it was chairman mao
for a beginner should I get this or the behringer 110vco/vca/vcf? would the big-o be considered a complete synth voice? seems like its got the important stuff
The Big-O has some waveshaper and overdrive but it's a sound source - it doesn't have a VCA or envelope to make it into a full synth voice.
This captain big I will sound better but you would a vca, filter and envelope still.
There's an adjustment on the back to turn the overdrive into a VCA! Support the small manufacturers.! 😉
i’m happy to see things of quality from them finally. chipz was… technically an oscillator, but not really usable. the unit i got honestly sounded worse than the one you reviewed lol
i kinda hope they either improve cellz or make a new better sequencer and then replace the niftybundle with that, captain big o, and mr phil ter. even if it cost $100 more it would be a far better deal.
When I take my headphones off after a long modular session on vcv rack all the sound I hear is like flanger noise for a little bit? is that normal

It sounds amazing and packed with features at that price! I'm so lame though. I honestly can't decide if I want to buy just because the looks of it would throw of my entire beautiful all silver system. I'm shallow. Haha. I still might get it anyways but damn. Why does it have to look so dumb. ?
Spray paint it silver and write the labels on with sharpie, Look Mum No Computer style 😆
