    Great video. Thanks for posting.
I know this is an old video, but for those watching you can also see a broken "Sway Bar Link" at 9:10. I've had these break several times which causes a thumping sound that comes from the front end when you go over bumps in the road. Typically these are very inexpensive and relatively easy to replace with a breaker bar.

Any video links for that? I want to do both.

With the link broken, it can feel you have a worn shock. Before you replace the shock, inspect/replace the link assembly with FORD parts. The Ford link consists of three components: Long top bolt; includes bushing, plastic link; includes bushings & bottom nut; includes bushing. Using aftermarket link components can affect handling of the vehicle. How do I know? Had customer complain about squeaking & rattling when going over bumps etc. Found aftermarket links were the cause.

I didn't even remove the tires when I did this yesterday. I had to jack it up & steer the wheels outta the way, but no biggie. The bottom nuts were kind of a bitch though. Make sure you get a can of PB (blaster) before hand, to loosen the seized nuts, well worth the $5.00. The top nut on my 97 was very accessible from the engine area also. (I did have a long extension at my disposal though). & yes, I did watch the vid before I started. Vey good. & considering one of the local tire shops here in Idaho Falls, ID wanted to charge me $400.00 for shocks & installation, this saved me some coinage.

Never bought expensive lube didn't think it mattered I tired some pb blaster after I got my first vehicle to spray down the fuel tank cover since it needed a new fuel pump stuff is amazing really works
