Penetration oil is just a feel good smell good. 45 years of twisting wrenches never seen it penetrate past 2 threads after soaking for a night. Smoke wrench heating is the only way.
We use heat too for REALLY stubborn bolts. This is liquid muscle in a can..lol
For those touchy areas around rubber or flammables a heat gun for shrink wrap works great. Takes longer but will work great removing brake fittings or bleeders.
Would a heat gun work the same as a torch?
Probably not because it will not get hot enough.
