This guy Xavier Anderson holy moly, wicked solo on Night in Tunisia, runs back to the section to play the shout chorus, then runs back down and plays an awesome cadenza, this guy is insane, bright future ahead of him.
directors kid but earns his keep and only a freshman and made jazz a last year trading 4s with a great player in portuondo. hes definitely going to be an amazing player

What a BAND - my goodness - such a fantastic ensemble, great rhythm section and all the young soloists forced Mr Mason bring his best game! Solomon, Daniel, Kiara, Xavier on Tunisia were all fabulous….and Elliot was darn good too ;^)
Pretty good on the high school level. Certainly have the feel and energy. Improvisation soloing is hard to do right on a single line instrument, especially when the chord changes are flying by. They did a nice job here. Lots of promise. Future music professionals in that band for sure.
