IOM Reporter: Protecting migrants in vulnerable situations (2023, English subt.)

From 3 to 5 July 2023, the 9th EMN Educational Seminar on Migration brought together one hundred participants and migration experts from 23 countries. The main theme of the seminar this year was the protection of migrants in vulnerable situations. See the presentation of the seminar delivered by Valon Halimi, Chief of IOM Mission in Slovakia, and Katarína Kubovičová, Head of the EMN Unit at IOM Slovakia.
The EMN Educational Seminar on Migration was organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as the coordinator of the European Migration Network (EMN) in Slovakia.
Topics of the seminar 2023:
☑️ Migrants and their vulnerabilities related to health, work and gender.
☑️ The power of the passport, the phenomenon of migrant caravans and protection possibilities for people who find themselves without valid documents.
☑️ Modern slavery and the effective protection of victims of human trafficking.
