7:59 IDK if you see this or not. When she or he is older than me, even we are friend, we call the name with suffix after the name like unni for female, oppa for male.
Also, we do have that drinking culture you mentioned. We usually do that when drinking with older or elder because we think it is a courtesy, but we don’t do that with friends (same age or even older since got friendships.) Hopefully it would be helpful to your questions! By the way, I’m a Korean. :)
