- 3 BNSF ACe's on point, plus 4 MRL ACe's mid-train and a lone GEVO at the rear drag a 128-car coal train past Austin and on up to Iron Ridge on Mullan Pass. A lucky touch with the helpers from the previous video (ML Passes Austin) heading back to Helena.
Love all those EMD's ! 🙂
That was great! The sand coming out of the third lead unit, the MRL helpers, the helpers coming down grade, and the superb panning that you do!
Top notch camerawork and great audio as always! Thanks for another MRL video Scott!
Great video man. Another helper set heading down for the next job.
That was very Amazing!!!
Nice, and you caught a returning set as well!
Very beautiful video on BNSF Railroad main lines trains friends SD70ACE Very good engines friends 😀 ❤️
Loved it. Excellent as always Scott. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate it.
Very nice. Love the returning Helpers Bobbing back for the next shove. Thinking about building a trip out to there from Kansas to see them before the sale is finalized. Love this railroad. MRL is my fav so thanks for your videos a views of the spectacular scenery!
Scott, another brilliant video. Very professionally produced.
the best Mullan Pass Videos out there. Love it. Regards from Germany
The unbelievable sound of power..
Very impressive!
Poetry in motion.
Love it man great stuff hearing those ACe’s pulling at notch 8.
Hey Scottie! Great to see you back Sir! Still haven't sent you an email yet...busy at work bla bla , but no excuse! Beautiful work as usual , and fantastic noise from the EMDs'! It sure is worth the climb up that hill and it's a shame we didn't get any trains when we were there....maybe next time?? Keep the vids coming mate and take care.
Cheers Gregg.
great locomotive auxiliary traction engineering
Awesome footage!!
Great bonus catch
Schöne Aufnahme mit dieser Landschaft. 👍👍
Impressive...😲👍
I noticed the second helper engine has 2 sets of horns I wonder why it has 2 sets
BNSF 8504 is a B-1 trucked SD70ACe-we get those where I work. They pulled better than the ES44C4's but both P4 and C4's can't be trusted to get the job done.
There is nothing like this sound, especially in the middle of the night.
Damn these emd's don't give a fuck, they are just doing their jobs
Imagine some one from the 1800's watching this... what would they think?
Any idea when the intermediate signals next to the crossing he was blowing for were removed? They were still there on my last visit back in 2019.
These engines, they all look almost the same to me…
They are all the same model except for the lone GE pushing on the rear.
Both EMD and GE offer only one model locomotive to the railroads, which is unfortunate. EMD use to offer several models at once and got away from practice that during the 2000s.
Old new freight passenger doesn't matter I love trains
How do you get in to these places? They are gated off every time I visit.
3rd diesel looks like a traction motor is overheating or a brake dragging
The crew could be dropping some sand for traction.
2 Horns on one of those MRL ACe's and no horn on the gevo
Skin 'em back, 8th notch!
Seven diesel locomotives and one oversized toaster oven? Yeah, I’ll take it.😅
EV fuel train!
That poor Gevo doing all the work!!🤔lol Good footage and Awesome camera action!!!!
