They sell the kit to use this on the zealot S. It comes with the remote and ESC.

This is cool. Several years ago I made the point in my G3 Zealot reviews your remote setup of just one press was superior to other remotes that need multiple presses. 🤟🤟glad to see others are feeling this way.

I still prefer the boosted board remote with its deadman switch and ability to quickly and easily go into reverse. This remote looks sweet but only 5 hours of battery life is concerning. Can you turn the screen off or dim it for better battery life?

Great innovation again! You should be able to unlock the remote on your phone app too, in case there is an issue with the fingerprint scanner.
Clip on foot straps would be a great option in the future! 🕴

I love the look of the new remote, but I hate to tell you guys that removing the finger hole will upset people, I use that finger hole every single time I ride my x3. Might take some getting used to without it.

This remote is so much more advance than their competitors! It's like when the iPhone first came out and everyone one looked down on their Blackberrys and Nokias felt inadequate.

backfire definitely doing a great job leading the pack. With all the bells a whistles I do wish they'd add a bell, or a whistle. Some regions want riders to have a way of warning pedestrians and so far I don't see any eskate manufacturers addressing this.

I saw a software update version option on the menu screen what will this offer. Just a suggestion it would be cool if on my zealot s i could adjust the brightness and speed of my lights for when im riding. It would also be cool to see an option for when i brake the purple lights flashed until i release the brake

What if the remote gets stolen/hacked and my fingerprint hash is compromised? i love the idea, but i think theres enough room on that remote for a 0-9 number pad.

Yeah wtf does that mean? I wonder if they have been having issues. Thew battery on my boosted board has gotten the rlod 3 times! It just happened again and im over it. I hate not having an electric board to ride...

Can you see the battery percentage of the board while riding? Imo 5 bars are so much worse than seeing the actual percentage. Would be amazing if you could add this in a software update if it’s not already built in

Will this remote pair with the Normal hammer?
Well I know what replacement remote I’ll definitely be getting. I was teaching my girlfriend how to use the G3 plus, and she fell… but don’t worry, my pretty remote broke her fall.
And for good measure, she slid with it across the pavement 🙃 still works, but doesn’t look as pretty anymore.
This back compatible with Backfire G3. Noticed app doesn't show total km's, only current speed and battery percentage.
Be good if this remote is backwards compatible. Or does hardware limit this?
This remote on ranger x3 would be great. Consider this for an add on to your boards! Sorry your remotes are pale compared to others i have used nice to see something better on the horizon.

Looks good but without the hole for the finger holding the remote is no different than the rest of the e skates out there
Will the remote and esc ever have the ability to do a smart reverse like boosted?

@@BackfireBoardsOfficial That's disappointing, being able to quickly reverse is something I have become accustomed to with my boosted. When riding in an urban environment it almost feels like its a necessity. I really urge you guys to add in that feature if possible I don't know why you would say that you don't want it unless it just isn't feasible on that setup/esc or would to expensive and too last minute. I really feel like you should do polls for some ideas so you can get feedback from potential customers. The new board and remote aren't bad but there are a number of things that i would have liked to see done differently and the price especially is way too high. I would possibly have considered it if the current base price ($1,900) actually came with 4wd and all the accessories but as it is there are a lot of good boards out there and I can get something much faster and with better range for less.

Is this remote backwards compatible with Zealot S or only the Hammer Sledge?
They commented on a previous post and said it would be. I was thinking about getting a Zealot or S and am hoping they start bundling it with the new remote. Id even pay a little extra, say $20 or so but i'm worried you would charge something insane like $100.
