I’ll never get tired of tears streaming down my face. It reminds me of how lucky I am to own an electric board. Sometimes it’s easy to take things for granted. Great video man!
It baffles me that people think I make up or inflate any of my speed or range tests when I literally show it live during the ride. I use a time stamp camera with a speedometer to record my audio and use ride app to track my range. I take a screen shot at the end of my range test as soon as I feel the boards “usable range” is done.
The issue is YOU!
You have to much skills, when you're only at 10mph, your carving look like it was at Mach one speed 😱

I got 24 mile range on my G3 on all 4 times from full charge. I weigh 145 pounds and ride mostly on smooth asphalt with minimal hills. Average speed 10-15 mph.

Thanks Ronnie for all your in depth reviews. I have been riding an off brand board that max speeds out at 12-14 mph as i am new to skateboard riding. I always wanted to learn to ride and am so addicted ESK8 now. I am 38 years old Father of 7 and my 14 year old has taught me to ride well enough and am ready to upgrade. I was about to get this board and then I came across the G3 that seemed to be great all around buy at just $549 as it fit my budget. Love your content. Backfire is capable of making awesome belt driven boards and Zealot is my second favourite so far while first being Flex Riot. They did great job with the Zealot. Great work, Backfire!
I've been riding my backfire G2T for nearly a year now with about 580 miles on it and I have only had one problem with it which was it dropped almost a mile of range over the past year but most likely thats my fault for not storing it properly during the winter and also always riding it crazy hard from 100 to 0 full throttle. I love the brand and your channel, this board only seems like a big improvement over mine and I'm a big fan! Keep up the good work Ronnie, the vids have been dope.

Well done Ronnie! I Always enjoy the personality you put in your reviews. I was debating on either the Zealot or Flex-Riot for a couple of months but ended up pre-ordering the Flex-Riot. The Flex weighs a few lbs less and is a little smaller and just looks a bit more polished & sharp. I need something I can swiftly pick up and carve around the city with I think the Flex was a correct choice. But that Zealot is nice too, a Beast with a lot of power.

Thanks for making a video on the BF zealot. I was on the fence about getting the exway flex after seeing the results from yours and DKWAN videos. Seeing as they’re all basically identical at that price pt and that rumored app coming in later this would be a nice budget board to add to my quiver.

Just got my Backfire G3 on Monday, July 6th. It has an AWESOME Bamboo Deck and I am having SOOO MUCH FUN WITH IT. "Should I get board A or board B?" That decision is up to you. There is enough info on my channel, and throughout the internet to make an informed decision. YOU will be riding the board, so you have to go with one that fits your needs, wants, and budget.

Also, you tried the revel kit on the loaded icarus you’ve got (instead of the unlimited kit)? Even if you don’t make a vid, could be an interesting ride. Would have to top mount rather than drop through though

I bought my Bamboo Zealot late last month and I love it sooo much would definitely recommend to any riders under 200 lbs. 48 miles in and take it every where I can in my little town.
What about if you're over 200

Great video man! I'm trying to save up for my first electric Longboard haha, hopefully I'll be able to get one soon! Also I know it's kinda off topic but do you have any tips for the old school kickflip? I saw your old tutorial and I'm able to get the rotation every single time, but I can only get one of my feet on there and it always lands near the back of the board. Any suggestions on how to correct it?

speed ofLife I ordered 5/11 with airship & I was told it would be shipped today 5/15. I emailed them to check if they shipped it, now they are saying they are going to have to refund my $100 because they “couldn’t airship” for whatever reason ... very inconvenient because the sea shipping is going to take forever!
Ali Mirza that's rough, I had started to wonder about my shipment as well, and checked with Backfire to find out what was up too. I will say, the customer service lives up to what I'd heard. Covid has global shipping in total disarray, hopefully logistics and shipping pricing returns to normal once all this is over.
At least they issued a refund on the air part.. Maybe they'll hook up a deal on the cloudwheels for your trouble? (Or at least discount air shipment on a set)
My top speed on turbo mode was 33.9 mph. I was going up a hill. Scary fun

This Thing is fast! I suggest that if you're a beginner like me use it at the lowest setting until you become really comfortable on the board, it can get squirrelly at higher speeds. Also be sure to wear a helmet, gloves and stiff ankle footwear minimum! I had to bail bail off mine the second day I rode it and rolled my ankle bad 🤦🏽♂️🥴

I saw someone with this board and we had a little speed test. That backfire is fast, but my DIY hub motor board was faster. I was at a lower voltage (30%) and had to let go of my trigger (because it was going too fast...max speed was near 40mph of course.) than his board (80%) but we both were going 30+mph. It was fun to see how fast it can go.
I definitely recommend the board to those who wants to try out for their first esk8 ever. You won't be disappointed.
I love all belt drive boards but some companies needs to make LED wheels for those e-boards! :) That'd be cool!!!

The breaks are powerful. I've raced someone with the backfire and I seen how the break is. Nice and smooth, just like my diy board.

Lmao, I loved your comment on double kingping trucks. I've always heard people love the carving on them, but I see videos and people seem to be carving at low speeds anyways. I'll take reverse king pin with the stability on high speeds for a bit of reduced carving any day. I think there are lots of people who just don't have the skill or commitment to put enough of their weight into their carves.... I'm sure they're still great but I only have one board, it's gonna be reverse kingpin first (=

Hi mate been watching you video alot as wanting to get back in to skateboarding but have put on quite a lot of weight. I went on to the backfire board link to see if I could find somthing that could hold my weight and still do about 30mph I even stated the live chat with the backfire team but no one responded. Is there any electric skateboard that could hold the weight of 19stones.

jerk then board continues to roll. wondering if there is a way to
eliminate that jerk and let the board continue to roll freely. i did

Saw your video on the Bustin Sportster Hybrid. That board looks like such quality. How do you like it compared to the Zealot and Exway flex? Know it’s not belt drive, but I’m new to the sport and just want some casual cruising, not crazy performance. It still looks like it has enough power should I need it.

Nick Russo I personally think you can get a lot more from a skateboard with tht price. But it’s a great buy if you wanna customize a lot more than just the wheels since there direct drive as welll.
