I always used Android phones. But I may switch to iPhone if the iPhone 15 comes with USB-C and support for other industry standards. I think iPhone 15 going to be the best iPhone in a long time (if they came up with universal industry standards like USB-C, higher speed charging for third party, etc.).

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is still my all time favorite phone. I remember I was stuck using a Pixel 6 Pro for my deployment and absolutely hating it the entire time, when I got back to the US, fired up my 13 Pro Max and it was like a breath of fresh air. Minimal bugs and the battery life was just insane. I have the 14 Pro Max now and though I like it, I think that the 13 Pro Max introduced a whole other level of battery efficiency in mainstream phones.

I buy a new iPhone every 2 years, mainly because of performance. But seeing this makes me want to hang on to the 13 Pro for another year, and maybe renew the battery. I feel like all these speedtests are just becoming a thing of the past. These days apps just load instantly on any modern iPhone. The speed difference used to be huge on the iPhone 4/5/6
The 13 pro max is still superior in battery life and a bit better optimized!

I usually upgrade every 2 years on iPhones. I have the 13 Pro Max Sierra blue and the performance is great. The only advantage on the 14 would be the camera and dynamic island. Otherwise, they're the same
I’d say even the cameras are quite the same except the 14 has better stabilization
@@killabean99012mp and 48mp is not quite the same... If you are only taking photos of your cat or dog - yes, they will look the same on your iphones screen. But if you want to use it for some quality photography, 14 absolutely destroys 13.

Most reviews I see always seem to have battery life on the 13 still far better than 14. I’m guessing on screen display seems to drain it a ton since the screen is always on technically.

I upgraded from a iPhone 11 to a 13 pro max at the end of 2021 when it released and I still have it. I recommend it to people still to this day who aren't as tech savvy who wants a new, powerful iPhone. A little better brightness, camera and dynamic island/notch are literally the main differences in these phones. I swear by Apple and all of their products, but I'm not one to upgrade when there is no need to. Though I am thinking of upgrading to the iPhone 15 pro max when it releases. Overall, the iPhone 13 pro max is a great device and I still recommend it to those of you wanting a newer iPhone but at a lesser price without missing out on all of the latest Pro iPhone features. The 12 pro max is cheaper and great as well, but the 120 hz refresh rate that you get on the 13 and up models really makes all the difference in screen quality and user interface. Its worth it.
i've had my Iphone 11 since launch and its still till this day serves me well only issues are battery and sometimes it gets a bit slow. Planning on getting a 13 Pro Max when the 15 comes out as im sure itll drop even more in price then.

I upgraded from iPhone 11PM to iPhone 13PM every two years and the next iPhone 15PM. I still have the 11PM, but trading that in after four years, and Google offered me £440 for the Pixel Fold, so excellent secondhand values. I will keep the 13PM for another two years despite getting the 15PM as I like a backup, and I use it for music and satnav. Though I understand the 15PM will be even more expensive, which is definitely a negative with flagship smartphones these days.
The 14PM was an A15 chip with higher clock speeds, so there is no surprise they match each other. The 15PM will be N3 (3nm), so it should be a far better upgrade choice.
Ya I did have the iPhone 13 pro just just fancies a change to Samsung I have the a34 it's not amazing phone but I will probably wait for the next iPhone 15 pro to come out then I will get that after a couple of months to save it for it I like both

@@disadadi8958 I don't get rid of the phone after 2 years, I keep it as a secondary iPhone for some of my stuff like sat nav, music, hotspot, and just in case. So currently I have iPhone 11 pro max and 13 Pro Max. I will retire the 11 pro max and incorporate the iPhone 15PM with my 13 pro max. I use different carrier Sims so when I go into an area that maybe patchy, hopefully the other network will allow me to do what I need.

Just got my 13 Pro replaced last week when I took it to the Apple Store to get it serviced to replace the battery. Then I was told that I have a charging port issue and did a diagnostic to learned that the lightning port was defective. So replacing the battery wouldn't be ideal due to not being able to calibrate the new battery to the iOS. I was really ticked off. So they offered to give me $530 credit toward the 14 Pro and only have to pay just under $500 out of pocket. Crazy part? I had just dropped Apple Care in January while thinking I won't have any issues. If I had kept the Apple Care, my phone will be replaced for free. I'm not really feeling the 14 Pro, but I'm getting accustomed to it. Dynamic Island is okay. I'm not all that crazy about it. Hopefully in the future updates of the iOS, the dynamic island will become more useful and integrated into the iOS. I've been using the 14 Pro for a week. Honestly? The 13 Pro is way better phone than the 14 Pro. I believe I will upgrade to the 15 Pro due to transition from lightning port to USB-C. That will be the ONLY reason. Otherwise, I won't be upgrading no time soon.

The only thing I like about iPhone 14pm, it’s that the battery life is life changer. I wake up at 5:50AM every single day with 100% battery, and when I get home like around 8PM I still have 40-60%, depending on how much I use the device. I upgraded from iph11 and I can say this choice was worth every single penny.
13 pm battery is a little better with a great battery life after almost two years but that’s great

Actually yeah it’s kind of cool. I ordered something from Uber Eats and as I was messing around on my phone, there was a constant update on my order lingering around in the dynamic island; same thing happened when I used ESPN for the NBA Finals, it kept me updated with the score. I like it!

Speed is not relevant anymore....even some midrange phones are on par with the flagships. I'm on S23U, but Poco is super close. Iphone 14PM have better peak performance, better thermals, 2x and bigger camera sensor, better zoom, a bit better screen brightness...that is what you're paying for, speed is easy nowadays.

Anyone in the comments can you give me tips of how to make the 13 pro max battery life the best as possible without cutting too many corners? Mine is on 88% capacity which isn’t bad, still much better then my old 8 plus which was on 78% capacity. The battery on my phone is nice, a lot better then my old phone but I would like to extend it even more any tips?
I'm using iPhone 11 Pro Max. I think 13 Pro Max is the best upgrade I could and I would do. I don't real fancy the dynamic island 🗿 look weird to me, seems more like a distraction to me
They honestly don’t need to drop a new iPhone EVERY year with minimal changes. They should wait a couple years and get on with some good and new ideas, insted of dropping the same phone and pumping the price up in the sky. But I have to say, the iPhone 14 pro max is a monster tbh. I got it recently and I’m amazed with the performance

So cause of battery, I wanted the 120 FPS, better camera, and I’m a big fan of the dynamic island. If I bought the iPhone 12 Pro Max new when it released I would still have it for sure

I actually had the iPhone 14 at launch day and I had for 3 days before going and getting the iPhone 13 Pro Max I hated the island I couldn't get used to it so I settled for the 13 pro max my phone before that was the 12 so im happy with my phone until they don't get rid of that island I don't see my self getting a new phone I seriously do not like it lol

I had the 14 promax but I couldn't stand having Esim I didn't like that I had to call T-Mobile everytime I want to use a different so I went back to the 13 promax with a sim tray I'm hoping that the iPhone brings back SIM tray but I doubt it. 👎👎👎
benchmark tests are really gimmick, you can't feel any difference between a Galaxy S23 Ultra in a day to day life usage while its having a very low scores

Dare I say iPhone 12 Pro Max an even better price, I recently bought one for my mom, who has was using an iPhone 8 and when comparing it to mine (the iPhone 13 Pro Max) there isn’t that much of a difference right away.
I have the 14 plus, to me the best phone for those that actually know what’s important and aren’t caught up in gimmicks and the 14 pro max had issues that people didn’t like. Needed to go back to 13 pro max. So you get the pro features without the screen and gimmicks of the 14 pro. And the refresh rate is something people I know with the 14 pro max don’t see a difference. It’s one of those things if you don’t get caught up with the specs sheet you won’t get robbed. Apple just didn’t do all they could’ve with the 14 series and that irks me cause the 7 plus was my first iPhone. Been a fan of Apple since.
