Right so true. And IMO, Plant is the goat of lead singers, Jimmy Page is the Goat of lead guitarist, and JPJ is the goat of musicians! You can't go wrong with these guys!!
Greatest band in history! Watch their live performances! I'm 62...I have loved them since I was 10! Do more! Jimmy was playing a Theramin in the middle of that song!
The guitarist/ founder of the group jimmy page produced all their albums so the great mix is credited to him Check out their live performances they improvise a whole lot and its amazing Anything live from msg would be great Great reaction btw!
I've seen Robert Plant out and about in London a few times. He even gave me a nod as we passed in the street on Wardour Street one time. Great band. Great singer. Legends.
We used sit in our bean bags, take a bong hit (or two), put on the head phones, close our eyes, lean our heads back, open our eyes, get up from the bean bag, go to the stereo, actually play the song, go back to the bean bag, maybe take another bong hit (or two), put on the head phones, oh, they are already on, hey the song started, close our eyes, lean our heads back, and this song will make you dizzy with the panning.
Fun fact: The band that influenced Måneskin the most is actually Led Zeppelin (see Wiki). Ethan's drums are Ludwig, same as Bonham. Can't wait for Måneskin's next album release.
The way I feel today is that the industry is too focused on pop. Mostly because that's where the money is. Even here in LA the modern rock stations are being bought out and slowly replaced with more pop music (KROQ). Honestly, I don't feel the soul in any modern music anymore. It all just seems like mass produced sound for the industry and musicians to make as much money as possible. I'm sure they have some algorithm that tells then which chord, rhythm, etc. makes the most money. I miss those days where we could go down to Sunset Blvd. and pop into a club and listen to new, live rock bands. I think Whiskey A-Go-Go is the last bastion for new bands in LA. Sorry for the rant, but right or wrong, had to let it out.
I've been listening to rock music since before 1960. Earliest rock, Motown, Surf, British Invasion, Psychodelic, Singer/Songwriter/Folk, New Wave, Reggae, Punk, Grunge. Since the year 2000 I can count on one hand the number of actually talented artists. Then, in 2019 I discovered Nightwish, a Finnish band formed in 1997. They are the best band I've heard since the turn of the century. I prefer their live performances beginning in 2013 when they brought Ms. Floor Jansen in as lead singer. She is the best, and most versatile female singer in the world in my (and many other's) opinion. As for this video: it's hard to wrong with Led Zeppelin. Four guys, all masters of their instruments. Top 5 bands of all time.
Now that you started with Zeppelin you gotta keep going!! Immigrant song live 1972, I'm sure you guys heard it before. These guys are amazingly creative, gotta delve into it..I'll subscribe if you guys keep doing Zeppelin
Bonham used the steady pedal high-hat technique quite a bit. That, the huge triplet tom fills, and his rapid burst kick work are really the foundations of the 'Bonzo sound', IMO.
You can’t go wrong with ZEPPELIN. You can pick any song off any album and it’s going to be good. They are one of those bands. That’s why they are always at the top of everyone’s list. Ok, percussion you say? Ha Ha! Try RUSH! Neil Peart is considered to be the greatest drummer of all time by a LOT of people. John Bonham is up there too. 2 of the VERY best Rock drummers period. RUSH will mess you up. 3 Canadians, 3 very, very talented Canadians that have been a top tier band for DECADES. All 3 guys are virtuoso musicians and wrote some of the most original and creative songs in all of Rock. They have a fierce and extremely loyal group of fans, of which I am one. The skill they have WILL Blow Your Mind! Try their RUSH-Tom Sawyer (official music video) which they shot in the studio (Le Studio in Canada)of them playing the song. I recommend that one because you will get to see them play at point blank range. It’s been wowing reactors all across CZcams. That’s just ONE song! It’s a good one, but they have so much more. Start there and you will understand what high level Rock and Roll looks and sounds like. 👍
“Oh Canada” 🇨🇦, Dude no bigger fan of the Canadian Vibe than me! Major Hockey Fan here - Go Stars / Go Leafs, Poutine is Rad & of course the Toronto band RUSH ! We will dive into the band soon. “Tom Sawyer” is a great suggestion ! Thx so much
Get into some Black Sabbath! Like Zeppelin, they were pioneers at the time. Godfathers of their art. Some of the most iconic hard rock songs of all time. If you haven’t checked them out, please do. I suggest Into the void, Paranoid, War Pigs, NIB. If you wanna experience quality rock, gotta go back to where a whole genre was created!
You MUST explore more of Zeppelin! Jimmy Page was one of the greatest producers of their music EVER! Others to do: Their WHOLE first album and the rest of the second! Another must group is DIRE STRAITS. Mark Knoffler is another genius musician and storyteller. See concert versions of SULTANS OF SWING AND TELEGRAPH ROAD. Musical Diamonds for your brain! If you want to build your channel, consider the Acapella groups PENTATONIX and HOME FREE. They have HUGE fan bases! Best of luck!
Beats the hell out of a drum machine that never once sounded like an actual drum. Or an autotuned mechanical robotic “voice” that does not resemble an actual human vocalist with power, range, and emotion. And guitars, remember them? Here are the best you will find in each category. Hard blues rock. The answer.
Glad you didn't do the butchered version. And for not cutting out right before that final scream. Jimmy must have had an absolute ball mixing that after the recording was done. Still remember this album release. ! Did you just call him dad?. Lol
So what was it like ‘back in the day’ waiting for a brand new Led Zeppelin album to be released!? Did u buy it from the local record store? Youth today have no idea about the concept of ‘waiting’ HA 😬 for something to come out….. or needing space to store your records, 8 tracks & cassettes in your room!
@Reaction Extraction yeah. I enjoyed the trip into downtown Toronto. The iconic Sam the Record Man. 2 huge floors of every genre. We'd spend an hour easily browsing for rarities. Led Zeppelin, I've owned every album. Some twice. Then again on 8 track, in the 70s. Cassette in the 80s. Then cds. Not just Zeppelin either. Or the walk down the road to the Roxy theater, to watch The song remains the same. Attended some pretty great concerts as well.
Wow what great memories. Nothing as cool as your Fav Record Store! Mine was Sound Warehouse in Albuquerque, NM. I’ve been to Toronto (‘94) Go Leafs! Had the chance to see 2 games in the old Maple Leaf Gardens, watch HNIC on CBC 🤘🏻
@Reaction Extraction that's cool. Saw a few games there, too. Concerts as well. Aerosmith, Johnny Winter, Lynyrd Skynyrd.with Doobie Brothers 1976. Just to name a few. I'm familiar with NM as well. Rode through in Sept 2019 the last time. Did some camping. One of my favorite states. I Have some history there. That's not where you are now?
I would recommend reacting to *Jeff Buckley - Grace (BBC Late Show).* Jimmy Page and Robert Plant are massive fans of his. Page said that Jeff was “the greatest singer to appear in two decades” (between the ‘70s and ‘90s). Plant said that Jeff was a “much greater singer” than him. Brad Pitt also said this about Jeff: “He’s Page and Plant in one, on a technical level; it’s mind-blowing.” Coincidentally, Jeff’s favourite band and biggest musical influence was Led Zeppelin. The first album that he ever owned was their 1975 record, Physcial Graffiti. On the night that Jeff passed (accidental drowning), he was swimming in Memphis, Wolf River (a tributary of the Mississippi), and singing along to Whole Lotta Love (which was playing on his friend’s stereo, back on shore), just moments before he disappeared beneath the waves, never to be seen alive, again. With respect to the drummer/percussionist, on this channel, I would recommend that you react to the following Led Zeppelin songs (the studio versions: *Achilles Last Stand* and *In My Time Of Dying. Those are John Bonham’s greatest showpieces as a drummer. The former is Jimmy Page’s magnum opus, and Led Zeppelin’s greatest song, in my opinion.
It’s heavy because it’s anger! It isn’t evolving...it sucks! Sorry 69 year old fart! Zep are the GOATS! PERIOD! Hey pops you have to do Zep live. Show the Lad the 73 Garden concert! Led is better live! Although the studio stuff is other level, they are best live. Most great giants are. 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Absolutely, my lad & I will do a deep dive into more ^Zeppelin on the show. Fortunately Ty loves the band & digs their vibe_ so the Reactions should be pretty good! 🤘🏼
Hey now that’s a great comment! I struggle with this one all the time with Ty. Has the evolution of technology helped or hurt music? IDK still working on that one, ha. 😬
This is real music ,unlike 99 per cent of today's so called music.
The drummer John "Bonzo" Bonham was a beast. A true legend in the drum world of rock music.
LEGEND 🤘🏼
If you’re a drummer then you’re going to love Zeppelin! John Bonham is the G. O. A. T.!
So true , gotta get Ty into more Zepp !
facts

More zeppelin please!!

Check out their live performances they improvise a whole lot and its amazing
Anything live from msg would be great
Great reaction btw!
Thank you, Jimmy Page what a Total Legend 🤘🏼
Agreed! Jimmy is the GOAT and a kick ass producer!
I've seen Robert Plant out and about in London a few times. He even gave me a nod as we passed in the street on Wardour Street one time. Great band. Great singer. Legends.
glad to see Ty soaked in the experimental passage. A good sign!
Every song of theirs is great. Keep going.
We always used this song to determine which speaker was being wonky
That’s cool , Funny quip !
If you want to listen to more of the greatest rock band to grace the earth, start with album 1 and rock on! You won't be sorry.
Great reaction, welcome to the Led Zeppelin rabbit hole - the deepest there is.
Zeppelin are just amazing 😎 like total ear candy every time ✌🏼
We used sit in our bean bags, take a bong hit (or two), put on the head phones, close our eyes, lean our heads back, open our eyes, get up from the bean bag, go to the stereo, actually play the song, go back to the bean bag, maybe take another bong hit (or two), put on the head phones, oh, they are already on, hey the song started, close our eyes, lean our heads back, and this song will make you dizzy with the panning.
Groovy 😎😎

Can't wait for Måneskin's next album release.
We can totally see that. Can’t wait for the next album!
As fresh as 1969….. nothin comes close… the passion … the groove Thank You Jimmy!!!!!!!!!!
"Good Times Bad Times"
Led Zeppelin are the GOAT period!!!!!
Yes they are the GOAT! The more we listen the more Ty is getting that 🇬🇧🤟🏼
For the best in classic drummers, John Bonham, Bill Ward of Sabbath , and Neal Peart of RUSH and crazy man, The Who's drummer.
🥁🤟🏼

Wow, great contribution to the show! Rant on! Keep bringing it, love the passion. Thx for watching.
Sometimes, it is so hard to believe you young people have never heard Led Zeppelin. The best rock band EVER!
Yes but better late than never! Ty likes what’s he’s heard so far. Legit Legends 🤘🏻
Go Bonzo!!!

Hmmm I keep reading comments about Nightwish , maybe we should do a song soon I guess, they’re new to me. Now which song?
Now that you started with Zeppelin you gotta keep going!! Immigrant song live 1972, I'm sure you guys heard it before. These guys are amazingly creative, gotta delve into it..I'll subscribe if you guys keep doing Zeppelin
More Zepp on the way!
That's what I said. Lol...I subscribed only cuz of Zep.
I never saw your son (whose name i don't know) so excited!!!!!💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Bonham used the steady pedal high-hat technique quite a bit. That, the huge triplet tom fills, and his rapid burst kick work are really the foundations of the 'Bonzo sound', IMO.
Great insight, Great description! Drummers so Ruled back in the Day 😎
Two top blokes, loved your reaction.

Sooooo great 😎💯

You are just discovering. Keep going.
We’ll keep going 4 sure, more Zepp to come! 🤘🏼

Yes just the beginning, lots to cover with 🇬🇧Zepp. “Black Dog” is next on the show !
@@reactionextraction excellent choice. I have a black dog t-shirt. I've been a Led head for fifty years!

Cool 😎 suggestion!
Great breakdown of a classic song. Love the led stick muahahaha!
Rad thank you !
Rad thank you !
Aerosmith - Dream On, it's perfect for your album track format.
Get into some Black Sabbath!
Like Zeppelin, they were pioneers at the time. Godfathers of their art. Some of the most iconic hard rock songs of all time.

AC/DC let there be rock live Apollo 1978…please 😊

This is a conversation I have all the time with Ty , real “raw” instruments / human element vs electronic technology. Zeppelin are legends!
Top 5 hard rock songs ever!
P.S. You do know what the moral of the story is don't you, lol..

If you're going to do rock, you've picked the wrong band! Led Zeppelin are a blues band.
Well yes , but Ty has much to learn about the origins of 🇬🇧 British Rock / Soul / Blues / Prog Rock … Led Zepp covers a lot of bases so to speak. 😎
Not with all the technology. All feeling and passion.
Possibly, "Greta van Fleet" will evolve...no one does solos like this anymore.
They are great band, glad u brought them into the conversation 🤘🏼
@@reactionextraction My pleasure.
