The can go 2 ways. 1. I think you can figure that out. 2. The consensus belief is it refers to him being refers to him being the boyfriend and waiting for her significant other to leave the house so he can go in.
You really need to listen to zeppelin tracks right till the end, they often did things in the last seconds, you missed Roberts scream here, INCREDIBLE voice
