  • My son was really sick and I was worried about getting sick myself. I started feeling symptoms and decided to take NAC. Here's what happened.

    You were telling my life story, being so susceptible to respiratory sickness most my adult life. Been ketovore, better immunity, taking NAC but not religious and regular enough. Thanks for sharing, this will inspire me to taking more NAC on regular basis.

      Hi Mary, getting sick frequently with respiratory illness is so frustrating, isn't it? I remember thinking at times, "What's wrong with me!? Why do I get sick all the time and other people are so healthy!?" But the diet changes have helped tremendously. I'm glad to hear you're seeming improvements as well. Thanks for sharing.

    I carry the surname Taylor as well and it has been my observation that myself and family members suffer from lung weakness and are susceptible to infections and bronchitis . after i started to take olive leaf extract everyday along with Nac i have not suffered any problems , i am fixed it is a real miracle.

    EVERYONE is sick at my office. Then my dad got sick, and smooched me when I went to visit for Christmas. I, too, have been suscepitible to colds, respiratory illnesses, sinus and ear infections all my life. So I use a LOT of Clorox wipes, keep my distance, wear a mask when I can....so far so good, but we'll see. NAC is part of my regimen, so fingers crossed!

      I certainly hope it helps! Getting sick especially this time of year is no fun. I'm so happy I decided to take it. I really do feel like it saved Christmas for me this year. So many people around me have been sick. So far I'm not one of them. I hope to keep it that way. I hope you do too.

    I have lung issues and started NAC and thought it was a miracle for me. Perhaps I took it for too long but at some point it seemed to backfire on me and my lungs feel more inflexible now. The only thing I can think is that since it’s a mucolytic agent and perhaps that mucus is there to protect the delicate lung tissue I actually made things worse in the long run. đŸ€·â€â™€ïž

      @@JTJaredTaylor yes, but of course they downplay the fact that any supplement could have any discernible impact, positive or negative. So who knows. Just wanted to caution people that just because something works don’t go overboard on it. Always exercise caution and be conservative, that’s my philosophy going forward. It could also be because I finally caught covid for the first time last year so perhaps it’s just damage from that.

      @@jenniferh7297 I hear you. Some doctors just don't put any stock into supplements. It's just me but I think that's a serious oversight. Oh man COVID is miserable. Glad you're okay and I hope you find answers to help improve with your lung health.

    Do you recommend the best time to take NAC, and frequency?

    • @HeartFeltGesture
      @HeartFeltGesture Pƙed 7 měsĂci +1

      Morning and evening, empty stomach (no food for 2 hours before taking)
      600-1200mg - Morning. 600-1200mg Evening.
      Best taken with 3g Glycine powder to create GlyNac.
      Look it up for confirmation of its efficacy.

      @marynguyen6417 So, sorry. I must have thought I was responding to to a different comment. Sometimes it's hard to keep up. I can tell you what I've been doing. For 1,200mg I break it up into 2 smaller doses of 600mg. Take 1 in the morning with or with out food and take 1 later in the day, or about an hour before bed time. For larger doses I try to follow a similar pattern. When I was taking 6,000mg I was taking 1,200mg at a time and spread it out 5 different times during the day. I hope that helps.
