WWI actually allowed us to be able to act independently of Britain even though we were already our own country. And on WWII's D-Day alone, our troops got the furthest inland compared to the US and we were left to liberate Holland on our own. The Americans didn't believe it could be done without backup and balked at the idea, but our Newfoundland troops went in there did it anyways on their own. Remember, we may not be as well known as the US, but we still got the job done. 😉

All countries in Europe that have a monarchy (king or queen), do not have presidents. Ex. The United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, Spain. They have a Monarch as head of state instead of a president. And countries like the Republic of Ireland, and France have a president who is the head of state. The heads of governments are usually called prime ministers in Europe, since they are parliamentary democracies.

    • @ryanc21000

Canada is a constitutional Monarchy, meaning that our version of a President is the Queen and not Prime Minister.

Winter wise, most Canadians live in South Canada, which gets about as cold as the northern US. The stereotypical Canadian winters you hear about are only in like Nunavut and the places in Canada where no one lives.

I realize that this is a very old video as well as an old conversation, but as an 🇺🇸, I can honestly say I knew the answer to every question. I’m a Michigan native and I’ve spent tones of time in Canada 🇨🇦 an loved everything about it, our cultures are very similar. I know the stereotype that American’s know nothing about the rest of the would isn’t really broken in this video, but a lot of Americans are worldly people who are very much up in current events around the world. I think an important factor to remember is the US is a very large country with a whole lot to offer within its boarders, so much that a lot of people never even think about traveling outside the US for vacation, especially not to Canada lol unless it’s to hunt or fish. We ❤ you Canada! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
