5:14 The Princess of Shoreditch, to your left is a fine tavern. Also, the nearby The Griffin (Ravey Street) is another local gem. Your older videos are great!
London fields looks pretty chaotic if you ask me. Im from further on down the road towards Edmonton and the and i follow the main roads through woodgreen, finsbury park and angel islington and so on to get into the city. I tend to stick to main roads because last time i tried using google maps to cycle home from work, It took me past all these dodgy residential areas where i almost got mugged and a near head on collision with a Dominoes pizza delivery guy going too fast. I have an old Garmin 520 that i use for *some* mapping, Its not really super detailed and can be a bit naff but at least i know roughly where i am without having to consult google maps. I normally use garmin software at home to plot routes to places i want to go so I know where im going.
Thanks John - there's a Komoot link in the description, there might be a way to covert that to the format you want but I'm not sure (let me know if you have any luck). I didn't actually record the route with GPS, I just drew it out on the Komoot route planner - I'm still experimenting with what works at the moment!
@@Londoncycleroutes Okay, thank you. I do like BikeMap, though - it allows you to create online and then download the GPX for your phone or Garmin. Or the reverse, record the route then upload it. I guess I;ll just have to ride all the routes, then :-) Excellent work.

Noted! Some great pubs around there
A lot of features have changed on that route from Debeavoir . It's still a good route to the city
Yes definitely a good one
What type of changes?
Pub on the Park, also known as the starting point of the Dunwich Dynamo!
I did not know this!

each to their own I suppose!
These are really great routes. Do you have any GPX files ? Would love to upload them to BikeMap.
