You knew you could use Shadowspear to make their lands lose indestructible? You would have really punished their bust in the first match
Your mono red midrange is so satisfying to watch, and getting to play against a bunch of different sorts of red mid variant opponents is super sweet!
You can also play Darksteel Citadel and use your own land destruction spells like cantripping Rampant growths ig
I got to chat a little bit to M. Hayashi and looking at the other videos for this mono red build. Fable the mirror breaker instead of bone crusher giants. And the flame slashes out for Obliteration Bolt. OB is needed to take out planeswalkers. Fable because...wow that card is good. I'd be interested to see how you fair with these changes. Otherwise the build you're using her I was able to just about go back to back sweeps on the local FMN. Only deck I lost to was merfolk.

I feel like mtgo does this on purpose whenever anyone plays a weird deck it pairs you against the worst/ most boring matchups
I'm surprised this list doesn't use path to exile or assasin's trophy, but I guess mono-red is better
I feel like the Obosh version with Ragavan and Blood Moon is better in the meta. Shuts off beans and mono B(coffers/urborg) but not amazing against Scam unfortunately.
The obosh version is great against scam - mono R Obosh suffers against beans because they generate so much value
