I've got my iPhone 13 (Starlight) recently. It's clearly a huge upgrade from my iPhone 6. Since I've not kept up with the previous iPhone series, I was surprised that right from 11 to 13 series, we now get less than it's used to be in terms of accessories like adapter, earphones, etc. So be prepared to spend more for those items. I'm happy with mine because it's already 5G and the size is fantastic.
I just got a 13 pro max and I'm also coming from a 6s plus lol. Looking forward to the updated camera tech. I will miss the headphone port.

When I upgraded from my iPhone 7 to the iPhone 13, I was amazed with the camera and the OLED screen. The iPhone 13 is 10x faster than my old iphone 7!!!!!!!!! Totally worth the price

The speakers are amazing. Watching with it on full volume rn and the sound is loud and crisp.
I’m using the 13 pro and the sound is definitely crisper and louder than my 11, but I preferred the smoother sound of the 11 personally.
I barely turn the volume up on my 13 Pro and it's already really loud and with superb clarity, Apple did a fantastic job on the speakers, and none of the over the top bass crap despite Apple owning Beats.
The iPhone 12 speakers sound louder to me

I upgraded from the Iphone X to the 13 pro. Man, the speakers shocked me! Hahaha
When I upgraded from my Xs to my 13 Pro, I was actually stunned with all the differences. I thought it wouldn’t be too much different, but I was wrong. The ProMotion is a game changer. Everything is so smooth. One thing I am sad to lose is 3D Touch, that was my favorite feature and the Xs was the last iPhone to have it. But given how much of an upgrade it was, I’m okay with losing it.
You still have 3D Touch. You just have to activate it on the space bar.

On older phones with 3D Touch you could press down on any letter with enough force and active the trackpad

Last night I was listening to Sade on my new iPhone 13 Pro Max, which I just got to replace my iPhone 12 pro max. I swore that something sounded different on the speakers and that they sounded almost as good as an 80s boombox or something like that. Got my 13 Pro 128gb Gold few day’s ago through Verizon. I have been lifelong Samsung user with the occasional iPhone here and there. But it’s just something about the Apple ecosystem that just pulls me back, everything is so fluid and streamlined seamlessly. It’s amazing Apple can pull of putting a lower amount of ram in a phone yet make it feel as if it’s running a higher gb ram
Just upgraded from 11 to 13. This has been my favorite iPhone redesign since the 4. I love that the square edges have returned (I think that was on the 12). This is def my favorite iPhone

I got my 13 pro max on friday, upgrade from an 12 pro max, i Immediately notice a different on the screen. It feels so much smoother, but the main reason why i update was the battery and the macro photos. I got 50% left on the battery on saturday, WOW. The battery haven't yet been optimized to reach is fully potential then.
I noticed one thing though, it feels like i have to press a little harder on the screen, especially when taking pictures. It should be the same but i feels like its not? Anyone else who feels the same? /Jimmy from Sweden.
Totally loving my iPhone 13 Pro 512GB in Sierra Blue. Notch in video doesn’t really bug me. I tend to pinch to zoom so the notch is always present to me. Learned to ignore it. 120Hz ProMotion is great!

@@MariahIsolated there’s not a mode but if you have Live Photos enabled and you take a picture you can edit it afterwards and do long exposure

I, after years of buying mid-low budget phones with decent specs but far from the best, decided to switch platforms to apple. This iPhone 13 Pro is my very first iPhone and i will say it suprises me randomly with how good things are when i notice them. The screen responsiveness is immediate, i never experience ANY frame skips, or animation glitches when swiping through open tabs and functions, the camera is very much what stood as apples strongest argument vs android and now using it i see the fuss. Is it limited in comparison to an android? Yeah. Are they far safer as far as your security? Entirely. Theres ways to customize the experience to make it more comfortable and the settings needed to set up the device felt like they shouldve already been allowed but i jumped in without bothering to look anything up. So far compared to the last time i owned a top of the line competitor(samsung s10 when they were fresh out) i have to say this is far more advanced than that was.
The notch doesnt matter to me because i usually zoom to fill so its like i have a huge mini screen in my face perfectly filling every edge of the screen
I have a question sir, does the iPhone battery drains if I keep changing the TEXT SIZE[increase/decrease] or keep changing ZOOMED or STANDARD mode in iPhone "Display & Brightness" setting?

I just went from an xr to a 13 mini. The size of the mini makes it a slam dunk winner for me. You still get full screen capability. If they made a mini with the pro specs and camera it would be the ultimate device.

Right so I haven’t noticed the notch cutting into any videos unless zooming to full screen, I had a note 9 before and got this 13 pro max at the weekend, decent upgrades all around and the notch honestly hasn’t caused my any issues

I have a feeling these leakers are ahead of the curve. Perhaps we’ll see the squared watch next year instead and perhaps the holepunch 4 throwback the year after that. Or maybe that will be some new r version that doesn’t have Face ID at all but Touch ID in the power button.

Speakers are pretty good. I just went to a 13 from a smashed up gen2 SE. I’d love a case that’s protective for phone & camera + lets the phone work & sound as good as possible..Some charging port coverage would be nice too.

I travel a lot to overseas and not having physical sim card in Apple 14. I would easily insert the sim card for the country I am in. Is there any solution?

Due to sensor stabilization being employed in iPhones since 12. You could kiss goodbye to good sounding bass. 😢 not a deal breaker though Apple hopes you buy Airpods/pro if you want good sounds. 🙂
Just upgraded to an iPhone 13 pro max (got to wait 4 weeks for delivery though 😔) Bought the spigen arcstation pro 45w due to it being the same price on Amazon uk as the 20w safe to say I’m impressed does what it says on the tin stays nice and cool charges quickly a little quicker than a standard 20w fast charger.

The wallpaper you mentioned apple never shown, that’s the wallpaper they use for the 13 pro max demo phones. But those wallpapers are video playback on repeat instead of the standard live wallpaper
Went from 11 to 13 pro max (Apline Green ;)) and am just so content. Going through apple instead of carrier is a much better experience and you can get more trade in without a contract if buying outright. The display is amazing, camera is stooped fun and the battery life is unrivaled. I do a lot with my phone and now I can truly say I can say 5g never looked so good.

God the speaker difference is incredible. Only a litttle bit louder, but huuuuge quality difference.
I actually think the older notch size/shape is more overall balanced.
Quick note: prores can shoot in 4k 30fps as long as you dont have the base 128gb model. It is locked to 1080p. All the other models from 256gb upward can shoot prores 4k.

As for overall feeling - switched from Iphone 7 to 13 mini and i have to say difference in performance, screen quality, photos is outstanding. Also battery life is waaaay better. Only thing that needs getting used to is no home button

What bugs me vs the 6/7 is the space around the home button and top. Now there’s no “safe area” to touch on the front. Funny how so many hate the notch and I’d still like a bezel. Turning off the default lift to wake feature helped a lot.
@@radellaf Totally agree with you. I actually miss the bezel on the older phones. I don’t get the benefit of the screen right to every edge. I’d prefer a slightly larger phone with more to hold onto. (Just got a 13)

Thanks for sharing that unboxing. At least they have two perforated stickers on the box. Prior to your video, I thought there was nothing to show whether the box had been opened before. I wonder how many people decided not to buy because they didn't know about the pull tab security feature. Apple owes you for having spent a few seconds on that unboxing.
