I know, It really hurts to see what they are going through to give up their own land.
That's why I'm sharing this video to everyone here.
We need to know the truth and educate ourselves.

Correction. They NEVER willingly gave up their land. It was literally stolen from them.

This is so so sad. The UK and USA have inflicted generational trauma on the Chagos people through their lies & deceit. I don't understand why they cannot walk a moment in the shoes of these good people. Have they (UK Govt & US Govt) have no decency. Allow them to return! And God said "Let my good people return to their land" You don't need to speak Creole or French to hear the deep pain in the voices of the parents & children. They do what good caring people do at gravesides. This is so painful to watch. I am ashamed of my UK & American Governments.

It's actually more to do with the British and Mauritius government. The Chagos belonged to Mauritius in the early 60s but the areas were still under BIOT control. The US wanted to lease it from the British to build just a 'communications facility' back then and therefore UK gave Mauritius independence in exchange for the Chagos islands. I found some of the government paperwork from back in the 60s when they signed the deal. Its shocking.
