Please, please, please keep these two commenting together. Ian Anderson and Philo Brathwaite play off each other almost at Jomezpro level. And Philo's obvious respect for the players and all the great stories. His is the best commentor you all have had on here. Keep it up!

They do an excellent job. But it's not my thing.
2 reasons.
1. Dialogue is forced due to Ian continually announcing who is throwing the disc. I think I can remember 4 players.
2. Ian panders to Philo encouraging him to make every moment teachable.
Some love it but this is not my kind of commentary.

Last tournament I was pretty critical of the production value of the post produced rounds. But credit where credit is due, I have nothing to complain about this time around. Amazing uptick in quality and it is greatly appreciated. Keep it up!

I'm from Santa Cruz and have played Dela since the 80's. Don't understand why the final round is played on the ball golf course. You have arguably the most iconic course in the world a few hundred yards down the road and choose to play the final round on a run of the mill park course. I don't get it. Enlighten me

Yep, Steve, I feel the exact same way. It’s quite lame. Never been a fan of that ball golf course crap. Putting pins next to sand traps for artificial OB is not clever or conducive of fair golf.
Need to make the editing a bit more concise and fast-paced IMO to truly match Jomez/Gatekeeper. Speed up the footage on the drone fly-overs and maybe cut out a little more of some of the longer pre-throw clips. One good example of something that could be sped up was the drone fly-over of hole 1 of the other course.
Imagine, just imagine if Gannon missed the tap in with the distortion...

It’s cool that you’re finally putting the disc selection up sometimes. To polish it up you should put it on every throw and what plastic they’re throwing. Not just like - Axiom discs Envy - but like - Axion disc Neutron envy - it just helps the sport grow and the manufacturers grow so people can go buy that specific disc also it’s more information for the buyer because there’s a huge difference if someone bought an electron envy Vs. a neutron envy.
Bruh we don't throw it as hard as these pros do anyway, what's it matter. The disc will fly differently. Also don't know how beat in their disc is. Also, some molds come out with different stability in different runs

Absolutely the truth. Watsonville should be included perhaps. Central coast dusc golf is definitely not about green grass and wide open fairways. It's about hard packed dirt, oaks( tree and poison) fast greens and unforgiving roll aways

Gannon pushed his A2 long on 18 at LVC, not the distortion. His purple "mid" he throws is an A2. He doesn't like the A3 surprisingly.
Interesting. He probably prefers the more overstable. I feel the a3 is too slow not overstable enough when I try and forehand it.

@@austinmeade7150 I don't know much about prodigy plastic. But I had a3 400. I like the ovestability and the forehand feel. It was just harder to forehand flex it around corner compared to a zone. Ohhh the Bead.
I had a purple A2 and distortion in the bag at LVC and it was the distortion that went long. That’s why I tapped in with it haha

Overall production value has really improved with the DGPT post produced coverage. However, I have to say that the Philo really kindof took the energy out of the coverage on what really was a great finish. Facts:
-Conrad needs 3 strokes with 3 to play and manages to get 2 while Gannon goes 3 straight pars.
-At the defining moment (@31:40) on 17 when Conrad MUST birdie, Philo says "James Conrad wisely chucks this one kinda under the basket." What? I doubt Conrad is playing for 2nd here.
-Orum is on a heater that pulls him within a stroke with one to play for lead card.
-Final result has top 3 sitting within a 1 stroke margin.
Philo always adds great insight, but on this one he acted like Gannon was running away with it. It wasn't over until Gannon's drive landed safe on 18. I'm sure Gannon didn't relax until then!
Critiques aside, I really did enjoy the coverage, commentary included. Props to Gannon for an excellent closeout and great win!

These bolf courses are just kind of boring. Wide open tee shot, to wide open up shot.
Even the hazards are not really hazards for the pros because they are so close to the basket it's almost a guaranteed make. They should at the very least make the hazards true OB and you play from where you last crossed in.
Almost zero bogeys leads to very little scoring swing, danger, excitement.
Great to see Ganon Buhr take the win though :)

Hannum borrowed Buhr's mini for his long putt, or vice versa. They were both sharing a mini on the last hole. I'd bet that one of them accidentally left their mini with their caddy, and they're both Prodigy team so it was spirits & comeraderie.
