Your videos are always good. Can you recommend any name of braid line or product for fishing squid? I use Burkley braid line 10lb now but I don't like it at all. I think the line is too rough for using at squid fishing. I can't find my favorite braid line that I used to use in my country anywhere in Austrailia. So I'd like to try new one sort of smooth or soft thing but I don't have any information about the braid lines that Australians usually use. Please help me out. :)
Westy2235 When the sun is lower in the sky you’ll have the most success, so as soon as the sun comes over the horizon in the morning and as soon as it sets. You can catch them during the day but they aren’t as frequent.

Owen Oh glad you are enjoying the videos! Personally I use tasline, it's super thin and strong braid. Expensive but worth it in my opinion

Fished there today, but tide was running to fast fir jig to hold the bottom.
Do you only fis the top of tide when water stops.

Its kind of difficult but a bit of led can get the jig down deeper.

Reel is a stradic, rod is a sephia. Unsure of jig rating but i use 2.5 to 3.5

The colour are the hardest, its it depending on the weather or can i use any? Last time i used pink didn't work
I usually only use white and it works well.
on sunny days the blue, green, and white all work well
I usually catch heaps on pink.
But then I’ll switch to something completely opposite and still catch.
I’m not convinced colour matters all that much
Are there a lot of Pike/ Snook there?
Yeah there are 3 or 4 what come up and eat little squid.

Can you catch bait for makos of there like salmon and slimeys and what should I use to get the bait
In summer at night you can catch yakkas, slimeys and barracuda if you are there at the right times but squid are just as good.
What are the right times ?, and what do I catch the bait on ?
little plastics or lures will do, just at night when the tide is starting to run
