Players can seamlessly travel back and forth between its vast maps interspersed with diverse situations and meticulous dungeons where menacing enemies roam.
Shadow of the Erdtree is an expansion to ELDEN RING, the 2022 Game of the Year.
Dark and intense, Shadow of the Erdtree has players continue their quest with the freedom to explore and experience the adventure at their own pace.

This fort feels spiteful. All the explosive barrels, the pot throwers, the axe men to keep you in the blast zones and then you got the Black Knight wanting to tongue and pound you. Everyone there is working together to get ya.
Maybe the Black Knights were Marika/Radagon's first attempt at trying to combine Golden Order and Crucible since they use a holy shockwave like Radagon? Mesmer took them on his crusade to maybe besmirch the Hornsent more that people who use their holy techniques against them.
Not sure about why the Death Knights appear exclusively in the Land of Shadows, beyond its connection to all things related to death. They feel like they should be ported over to base game in some catacombs, the Deep Root Depths or part of Fia's quest.
Finally caught up with the early release/finale of this. Didn't want it to end, but it was spectacular. Do hope you got the few armor and weapon bits that become available after the final boss. Don't think they made Sleep more viable, but Thiollier's stuff and the Velvet Sword might be the closest thing for a functional Sleep build.
