I think it's awesome we both talk about video games and the hero's journey. The way we speak and the mannerisms of how we speak are nuanced. The audience will receive our messages in similar and unique ways. I hope more people give themselves permission to dive into the depths of their unconscious to play with intention.
Thanks for watching and finding that connection. I cannot wait for people to read "The Gamer's Journey" later this year. It will open up a lot more discussion between me and my audience once others can see the work I am doing to make gaming relevant through the lens of creative thought experiences and existential frameworks such as we have received from mythology for ages of humankind's growth..
Assuming this gameplay was yours, I highly suggest trying out Night Comet with dual Staffs of Loss. For a high intelligence build, it’s the best and most powerful spell in the game. The dual staffs boost the power of night comet by 30% - and the best part is, enemies don’t dodge it because of it being “invisible” - also another pro tip for Rock Sling, use the Arrows Reach talisman to double the distance the rocks will fly.
Don't feel bad about summons. I don't play every game on its hardest difficulty like Hitman 3. People say there's no difficulty scalein Elden Ring, but there is. Just summon spirits and don't go past journey 3 for easy to normal. For those challenge modes, then keep going and don't use summons. If the game is still hard with summons, then Sun Bro would have a word with you.
Thanks. I don’t feel bad. I just was noticing a lot of internet noise in recent weeks and wanted to comment on it. One of my best friends keeps getting stuck because he refuses to use them. It’s such a strange choice.
It did, but I decided to release the video anyway and move on to the next one. Thanks for watching. Hopefully the next one doesn’t get that reverb on it.
The cover was drawn under fair use law, meaning nothing appears exactly as it does in game. Minimalist art style and slight changes to every element. The book is an academic analysis throughout as well, so the project was allowed to be completed without a licensing issue. If the book was fiction, there would be a problem. You are right on that one.

Appreciate the encouragement to use summoning!
The gatekeeping some people try to pull on people in this game is astonishing. Nobody needs that.

Those are extremely helpful tips. Thanks for sharing and watching through the video! And yes, that was me in the video doing my best.
Great list Dr. K!! I resonate with so many of those points. Keep em coming!
More to come!
Hearing the story about you and your’e son’s conversation about a boss was something that connected to me.
He is so connected with this stuff. It really makes me know that games can connect people.
That giant magic sword is OP lol
I owe so much of my success to that spell!

Hello there,
How did you get the licence to write about Elden Ring and even have a pic of it on the tittle? As a fellow writer I want to know.
