- Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, this is my last video for 2023.
I have been researching the new colour forecast for 2024, from most of the main paint and wallpaper companies in the UK, USA and Europe.I have explained how to use these new colours and how impactful they can be when added to your home. I have also touched upon my new favourite design style "WhimsiGoth" it's a beautiful and Whimsical extension and natural progression of my style and can add that perfect finishing touch to any room.
I have lots of new projects for the New Year along with the new plans for the French House.
Have a very Happy New Year and may you have health and prosperity in all you do in 2024 and beyond.
Love and gratitude to each and everyone. - Zábava
There was a mansion where I grew up made of gorgeous pink marble. The owner eventually couldn't keep it up. The city took it over to house a museum. It was called the Pink Palace by locals. Lots of school trips and visits with my cousins. It was so grand and beautiful. I remember it being very interesting and I loved going there. I still love pink Victorian rooms. I have a pink corner with c&s sets, perfume bottles, trinkets and floral artwork. At Christmas I have a pink Santa from 20 years ago when I had a Victorian bungalow with a beautiful pink parlour full of antiques. I have a 1920s pink camelback wing chair and an 1860 ornate brass plant stand with rose marble inserts. In retirement it must be a much smaller version. But I truly love a pink palace❤😊 Thank you for this video.
Oh I immediately pictured the pink palace! It’s so funny how the things from our past stay with us and influence our lives 😁thanks so much for sharing that with me, it’s certainly made me think. Happy new year and cheers to pink marble mansions 🥰🥂
Oo the dark and moody look is delish !
It’s gorgeous 😊
7:28 this room really speaks to me. I adore an uncluttered, cozy space filled with things that someone really enjoys. It’s not boho and also not shabby chic… it just feels so well loved.
This one is very Rose Tarlow to me.
I absolutely loved that room. I want to do a tone on tone room in the next house, so very calm and classic. 🥰
@@lynseysrecycledbliss1111 happy New Year Lynsey! May we both enjoy the rooms of our dreams this year 💫💕🎉
Lynsey, Thank you for an inspiring, creative and wonderful Year, filled with Motivation and Brilliant Success👏❤️👏.

Our virtual bags are packed for France, looking forward to every nook & cranny you will transform ❤️🇫🇷❤️.
Thank you again for a glorious 2023 but we all know already 2024 will be the Paris Olympics of Home Decor projects for us all.
Bravo, Mon amie ❤️❤️🇫🇷🇫🇷❤️❤️
Oh thanks so much we are really looking forward to starting our French dream, I’m planning so many things. ❤️🥂happy new year
The yellow and blue kitchen reminds so much of antique Italian majolica plates. It’s not a style for me, but betting it feels like pure joy to cook in that space!
I totally agree! Yellow is one of those colours it has to be the right shade. I have tried but I can’t live with the vibrant yellows, mustard and historic yellows are my favourite. 🌻🥰
I love the last style.Velvet, lace and gold I’m in.xx🐝🐝🇬🇧🕊
Oh it’s definitely our style 🤗🥂🍾🎇happy new year
Love Whimsigoth
It can be so beautiful 😀
A very interesting post this week colour is so important to wellbeing. I live in a house in Germany that was built in 1641 ( the original wooden structure built in oak) with additions in 1800 and 1870s in stone and brick. It's Denkmalschutz or Protected Monument /Listed building so I can't paint with out permission. I make my statements with art and soft furnishings. What ever your home is like you need to think of where the light comes from and of course what you like and suits your situation. Happy New Year to every one.
Oh how wonderful to be custodian of such a wonderful home. I can imagine it’s quite unique and very beautiful 🥰thanks so much for watching and have a very happy new year 🥳🥂🍾🎇
Are you planning your color palate for your French home with any of these colors? Can’t wait to see what you will do when you move to France!
U know I want dark green and gold cabinets in the kitchen and paneling up the stairs but the house will tell me the rest 😁
Hello Lynsey
Thank you for the update on Trends for 2024. I'm an Interior Designer and I love listening to your soothing enchanting voice. Your always so upbeat. Thank you for spreading such joy. May the New Year bring Joy and Health to you and your Family.
Fondly: Christina USA.
Thanks so much Christina. Have a very happy new year 🥳🎇🥂
Lovely video. At about 6:03 the wall color. 2007 I bought paint for my living room. It was supposed to be a mocha light or similar. I put it on the walls and it looked off. I told myself it was the lighting, it would dry darker etc. nope. The color you showed is still on my walls. It is very versatile. I started going with the rich and vintage colors in my decor and furniture (so glad to have found your channel with the great inspiration you give) after using beach and creams for many years. 😊
Oh that’s brilliant 😊 I will go back and see what the colour was. I did a similar thing with the blue I have on my wall. I love the colour 😊
❤
Am waiting to see how you use these trends in your home. I love the blues and peaches, not so much the dark tones, I find them depressing.
Oh I do love the dark colours.🤗 but some of the pastel shades are gorgeous. Happy new year 🥳
Thank you. Love this trend! Cheers and Happy New Year
Happy new year!🥳🥂🍾
I like the design looks of 7:00-7:29. I like whimsi goth. Really dreamy looking. It seems like an updated more modern version of Victorian. I ❤ It! Cant wait to see what you come up with. Happy New Year! 🥳 🥂 🎉
Yes absolutely they always have to come up with new labels for old designs………definitely Victoriana with twinkle lights 🥰happy new year 🥰🥂🎇
Cheers and Happy New Year 🎉
Happy new year!🥳
Happy New Year Lynsey as well as your entire family. Love all the colours. Look forward to following you in 2024. I think you’ll have a magical year, full of changes. Lots of hugs 🤗 love ❤️ kisses 😘
Thanks so much. Happy new year 🥳
Fun video! The moody colors definitely don’t seem to be going anywhere yet. I’m glad. I think we’ve seen so much bland, boring and downright depressing colors trending for way too long. The moody colors and now pastels are refreshing!
Definitely happy to see some of the blues and my favorite, pink! Pink can be so pretty when done right, as you indicated. It can be sophisticated and elegant or cozy and comfy. It doesn’t have to be juvenile and look like a lollipop 🍭 shop. Not that there are actual lollipop shops but you get my point. LOL!
I love all the colours except the peach colours too many bland peach memories lol. The dark and the pastels is my favourite 👍
Hi Lynsey your uploads are the highlight of my Saturday. Tx very much. Although I don’t do videos I understand it takes time. Compliments of the season to you and yours. Kindest regards and very best wishes.

Hi Lynsey. Thoroughly enjoyed this video and the WhimsiGoth look. My victorian house is very suited to this, damask gold etc love it.

Hahaha. I just painted over gloomy, charcoal walls.
Hey your a trend setter 👍happy new year 🥂
🎉🎉🎉Now that is something to celebrate!!! I was appalled at the Grey Trend😅 Happy New Year to All.
Mrs b. You lost me
Why?
The dark beliefs is from the Deceiver, please be careful.
@@benpearson2254 omg. No! Just cozy colours to wrap in warmth. Always with a light and airy pastel. No light without dark 😊
@@lynseysrecycledbliss1111 I didn't watch the Halloween DIYs and I do decorate in Academia aesthetic, but I stay away from the witches. That is what the Light of the World has warned.
@@benpearson2254 i don’t want witchcraft I like twinkle lights and herbs and goodness. Absolutely no darkness here.
Happy new year Lynsey!
Happy new year to you ❤️
