Absolutely correct! And provided the inspiration for a mid-engined "Vette that took 50 years to come to fruition. Love mine, a'72 Pre L with a 500+hp Cleveland providing the fun.
@@deanfirnatine7814 Although I really like the C8, looks are purely subjective. IMO the designers really screwed up the rear end of the C8. It does NOT look right or balanced at all. Even Sketchmonkey redid the rear and his version looks better to me. The Pantera on the other hand is perfect as long as it doesn't have a wing!
I've been a Pantera fan since day 1. This is is, in my view, the prettiest and best example of combining its original beauty and modern updates I've seen so far. Absolutely stunning!
That is my dream car and I want one in white so bad. When I was a kid, there was a guy around the block from me that had an original white 72 Pantera. Every time he drove by, it had this really out of the ordinary sound. I could be down stairs and I would know that it was him in that Pantera but I never knew what kind of car it was until later. Your car is awesome.
There’s a guy who lives down the road from me and has the same car sitting under a walnut tree at the side of the house. It’s rusted to the shit house, covered in leaves and different covers, with other car parts sitting on the bonnet. And won’t sell it. Has been saying for the last 15 years he is going to restore it. And when I first saw it back then it was in great condition and running.

So gearhead mateys!! I noticed 351 Cleveland sounds way much different than other 350s and this clevey is so much music in itself!! So i want to ask this clevey has different design build than other 350s fron Ford?? If it it has different build then i wonder what it's 500 ci would sound like!! It will so godly!!
Well, first I was annoyed that it’s not really for sale (pet peeve on aged data) then, as the owner and builder of a 68 firebird making 500 hp and 575 ft lbs, I kinda thought “meh” at the specs, then you started it and drove it and gave me a bit of wood there, not gonna lie! How much did it sell for?? I’ve seen a few in-car videos on some 71’s and thought there was no way in hell I could ever drive one because of my height, but you looked appropriately sized in there.. how tall are you? Nice car… gives me hope for my ford projects, I’ve got a 302 and a 350 I’m doing stuff with….I want a Cleveland inna Daytona coupe clone is my dream car this week.
very very very nice !!!!!!! Can I get a job working in that garage ? LOL Ford is missing the boat by not putting these into production and selling them to the average Joe today. Just keep it simple and keep the cost down.
Prefer the original sound and not the blacked out chrome. Missing the only option a $400 Becker radio that you couldn’t hear anyway. Great styling from the front but the rear is nowhere as cool as the predecessor mangusta. Love all the records that were kept, that reading will last through another pandemic. I had a white 71 and relied heavily on the support group therapy from Pantera intl. good luck
bet you dont know who the actual original concept car designer builder was for the Pantera #1 you can see his picture at @t Its not who you thought it was, the guy was so anti establishment he made Ford Motor Co. pay him in cash every friday for years while he produced specialized concept cars for Ford and others .
47 years old and still better looking that the new Corvette
T.S. Elliot and still worth way more then one

Great looking yes, best tail end of any car ever BUT the new Corvette is one of the best looking cars ever period

I've concluded that these cars look best in white.

Not a shop, that's the garage!
Wow, the garage is.....is a HEAVEN. The one I dearly love, getting in where it deserves to be.
Great camera work! Good editing skills too!

450 BHP. Now you're talkin! Nice, Nice, keep it on ice. I need about a year or so.
I hope o get one
😍😍😍
great mix of cars in the garage...my tastes exactly if I had money. This is/was a nice car...assume it sold.
yes, for $101K
Never seen this type of a car
Ahhh the memories
with 450 HP you probably could have done a more impressive burnout, otherwise an excellent video showcasing that beauty.
Great video, BTW is this a radio delete example, TIA
You have too many cars. You just need to let me drive it home for ya. My home. 😊👍
A real cutie. : )
Lovely. Could maybe use a little more offset on the front wheels to move them out to near flush with the arches tho.
What are these pills for? Valium?
