In 1978, my buddy bought a Pantera with a 351 Cleveland , he drag raced a guy with a Mustang Mach 1, also with a 351 Cleveland , the Mach 1 beat him in the quarter mile race, the Mustang had a Hurst Super shifter, that was the difference
I owned a 1971, and next purchased a new early 1972. Neither had a removable quarter side window, or no friends I knew had that. I think someone modified to open. I don’t know why as both cars got plenty of air, and both ran cool. As a Ferrari owner, that is definitely not Rosa Corsa Red. It has too much orange in it. My 1972 I got the paint codes from my friend that owned the local Ferrari Dealership, and it looked nothing like Racing Red, or also called Rosa Corsa. Ferrari added about 6-8 other shades of red, so perhaps that is the color of this car.
My Lord almighty... what a beautiful example. It's a shame that only the wealthy can afford one of these. They were designed to be more affordable; a car for the guy that could not afford a Ferrari. For me, there is no comparison whatsoever. Ford Power proved itself in 1966 when the GT40 went up against Enzo and the boys, stealing their thunder.
This is a pre l model,small bumper, wheels are 17 pi international units, original 15 campys are hard to fit with performance tires, original exhaust were anza,the deck padding is not original, i am picking up my second one this week,don't think he really knows about this car original specs,small rad in back is for a/c,have an expert check for rust,well know problem, all the undercoat i would be wary

Never was there a cooler supercar, excepting the Ford GT from the early 2000's. It's the perfect combination of Ford power and Italian styling.

I bought the car. Per the notes that came with the car, the paint is Porsche Guards red. Applied in 95.
