Akaash Singh is a nationally touring stand up comedian, podcaster, and actor. After moving to NYC and honing his comedy craft, his career started to take off with many shows including MTV’s Guy Code and Wild’n Out, Netflix’s Brown Nation, and HBO’s The Leftovers. After finding success in TV, he pivoted his focus more on growing the hugely successful podcast Flagrant 2, co-created with fellow comedian and good friend, Andrew Schulz, along with touring and his stand up career. Akaash ambitiously plans to release three stand up specials within the next year. - Komedie
It’s like a bad date where only one person is having fun 😂😂😂
No, that’s the other East Indian comedian
@@kellenjenkins3826 except this interviewer has a stronger metoo claim bc it wasn’t consensual
Tbh if i'm vibing and they're not, _queue bitch don't kill my vibe- Kendrick_
@@kellenjenkins3826 🤣💀

Theres a point where you can see Akaash realizes that the ships sinking and decides hes gonna just enjoy the band on the way down.
That's the most accurate comment. The rest are pandering because they like Schulz.
So just play the ITS FOX NEWS and THEY ARE RACIST.. "YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT A WHITE"? THIS MAKES ME RETHINK WHO THIS GUY REALLY IS!! SEEMS TO HATE A CERTAIN "75 MILLION PEOPLE"
He lost her at “What’s up Camera 2” 🤣🤣🤣
“Am I right camera one?” I lost it😂 the uncomfortable silence when it’s only me and Akaash laughing
broo that silence after "god is already doing that, am I right camera one?" ahahaha😂
Camera guys had to have been laughing
My camera would have been seriously testing out that steadycam feature 🤣🤣
The cameras are probably automated, and run remotely from the control room
Yeah I smiled at that one lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"I just love comedians so much" and the sarcastic "I can tell" response from Akash was hilarious 😆
Definitely Michigander sarcasm there to which Akash's response was quite fitting.
@@jpruhu7662 Michigan love comedy but Akash was out of his element.
@@gislanaepstein3013 For sher.
@@TheJ1aa2m3 I don't think that needed to be stated which is why he didn't bother
She was being sarcastic too which made it doubly funny
You know she wasn't rude about it so it actually made the whole awkwardness hilarious lol props to her.
How comedians can have such a good time in such awkward situations is damn near a super power.
It's what happens when you give exactly 0 fucks about what the person thinks about you. I do this also :D
Wow Aakash thinks he is on Flagrant 2 with Andrew but actually he is on the news. Bro keepin it a 100. Love it.
lmao frrrrrrr...
he has come a long way
😂😂
IT'S CALLED FLAGRANT
That's what I was thinking, he's still on flagrant 2 in his mind.
This is amazing! Akaash just being 100% himself and she didn’t know what to do with it. Love it!
she probably thought he got drunk
He was all over the place, no-one can keep up. he was just talking about Detroit, being brown, Fox News, it not ideal for any host. She obviously didn't know which way the conversation was going.
Nah he being extra.
@@joka5345 lol you probs boring
@@sans6919 booo
I love that Akash laughs hysterically when things get really uncomfortable lol
He sounded psychotic. Like the Joker.
The silence after "am I right camera one?" had me in stitches lmao
That was hilarious. I actually liked her energy strangely enough. She didn’t give you anything, but she wasn’t a bitch. The contrast in vibes was great.
She played the classic strait man perfectly
yeah the last 10 secs of it let you know she was just playing it to her own temperament
Ya it was awkward but she kinda held her own.
@@xerxestheimmortal1 don't mis gender her.

Akaash needs a show where he makes white people uncomfortable for 30mins every episode.
absolutely!

Always hating on whites we need a show where people can just be racist period see who wins or who has more fun then . Cancel free
@@user-tm8jt2py3d I prefer he makes southwestern Russian people uncomfortable for 44 minutes.
is she even white?
He handled this so well dude, the comedic timing during the awkwardness was perfect. Funniest shit ever bro 🤣
I see Akaash is going the Bull Burr route with these interviews. I love it🤣😅🤣😂😂😂
Yeah he's keeping it real hahaha. But I guess it makes sense for comedians to do so. Seeing the real comedian on the news might incline the viewer more to check him out more than in any other industry/profession.
the best route
“Back Alley Comedy Club…that sounds fun” the sarcasm just killed me, this whole thing was hilarious!
After finding out back alley comedy club was a bowling alley it’s even funnier 😂
@@jermaine436 came to comments for this. Too fkn funny. Its already selling bad and we know how it ends😅😅😅 love akash
She's uncomfortable, you're killing it.
He was uncomfortable too. He sucked. A comedian is supposed to be able to read the room and adjust.
He's married he wants to kill it
@@web-angel oh so you didn't hear Akaash on flagrant where he said that, she was rude in the back before cameras so he decided to to rule the room.
Funny thing is you don't see these guys job as the same hers to control the room through an interview and his to control the room through comedy. He was just better at his job than she was at hers.
@@andygirone7442 he didn't. She ruled it and embarrassed him. He was nothing but white this white that. It sucked. He's funny but he bombed so bad
@@andygirone7442 which flagrant podcast did he say that?
The Bill Burr energy of this interview is staggering lol
Best news interview in a lot of time lmfao. You handled it like a boss
She made it so awkward lmao
Exactlyyy it really didn't have to be that awkward
@T she's white. We can't laugh or mock Detroit. It's racist.
I'm definitely saying "am I right camera 1" in every awkward conversation from now on.
I watched the original upload and LMAO YO AKAASH IS A LEGEND! And Hey Kansas City...BE IN KANSAS
Im sorry but this was hilarious. Akaash keep slaying. Do more of these and keep them all on their toes!
This was phenomenal, I am in tears 🤣🤣🤣 for anyone who hasn't seen him live, I thoroughly recommend it. Probably one of the best stand-up shows I have ever been to
I'm not going to lie, I'd love to see Akaash or Schulz live but after seeing all their crowd work stuff.. I ain't trying to get roasted Lol.
He's pretty funny not great. Shulz is a master.
@@Sigrafix see that $15/$25 pricing? That $25 is for you sir so that you can sit on one of the back seats :D hahahaha
100%
@@stifflerybro he'll still spot u 😂 that's what comedians do thou taking on random ppl but mostly roasts will happen to the front row guys folks though.
You cut the best part when you said “hopefully I get slapped today” and she does the Jim Halpert pan to the camera. Freaking Hilarious!!
she did the same thing when he said they had no chemistry I was like "error! basicness overload!"
Part of me is like 'aw man, she's just trying to do her job...' but the rest of me is laughing saying "get em Akaash" lol
This was a poetic train wreck and I'm here 👏 for 👏 it 👏. Glad to see you having fun with it!
That was rough ha…the poop joke was funny, but the fact it got soooo quite on set, made it way more hilarious 😂😂😂
My favorite comedians have never been afraid of silence. Akaash sure ain’t
@@beardown2489 savage!!
This was funny af Akaash, if you got more of these in the vault throw em up 😂
I love at 1.20 when he realized he's pissed her off and just laughs. Dude is a legend.
As a dutch guy, nobody does the klompendans, the vogeltjesdans would've been a better example. In fact nobody wears klompen/clogs except for some old farmers.
Also keep killing it man interview was hilarious and hope to see you sometime in the Netherlands!
Vogeltjesdans is exactly what a Dutchie told me when I showed him this clip but I think they were referencing a town in Michigan called Holland. Living in NL myself, I'd love to see him perform here and I think the crowd would get his humour quite well! A few friends of mine went to see Trevor Noah last week @Ziggo in AMS but I'd much prefer Akaash or Andrew!
You Dutch mofos are just making up words at this point. Longest prank ever.
That was hilarious. Picked up the vibe and made it fun for the viewers. Nailed it Akaash
Bombed on that Muskegon news show but that Back alley comedy show was fire
Legend 😂
That's a great confidence to maneuver throughout awkwardness as gracefully as you did.
Big fan of you Akaash from the Netherlands ("Holland"). It is great seeing you blow up, I have been watching you since the older flagrant2 days. Make sure to come to Amsterdam would love to see you live sometime!!
Her level of terror that he might say something remotely edgy 😂😂😂
Now this ! This is what I love real comedians being themselves good shit Akaash!
Akaash out here doing gods work turning news into light filled podcasts.
Akaash is channeling Patrice like no other. Thank you for keeping true to the art. The real ones see it.
Yet another example of people not knowing the guest they're supposed to be interviewing, very professional lmao
They knew- they werent asking trivia about NYC or Paris, the point was to do a fish out of water pitting them against very localized trivia.
@@onlydaprecumyeah but everytime he makes a joke she gets uncomfortable when she had a comedian as a guest 😂 it reminds me of the bill burr one it was so good
Thanks for showing up to my hometown Akaash! I know Muskegon isn't the most entertaining place but you definitely made me and my girls weekend.
This is one of the funniest interviews I’ve seen, we need more of you messing with reporters!
Akaash! You, my friend, continue to support freedom of speech and freedom to joke, and you'll have my support!
This was one of the funniest things I've ever seen
I watched this like 6 times already lmfao
Dude you'd be hilarious in an awkward situational sitcom like The Office lol
I think this is what he was aiming for, to be Aziz Ansari’s replacement for any future sitcom roles.
I want an one hour special with these two every week
I would watch that.
Yo! Akaash! Lmao. I needed this right right now
This is like an open mic where you know your jokes are best and the audience is dumb🤣
The director cuts to camera 1 when he calls for it. This is so good 😂
Gold! We need more of these moments!
I love how you react to the awkward moments in real time, like she's so obviously uncomfortable it becomes funny
we’ll have know stand up and national tv news have the same audience 🤣
Is it bombing if you’re having fun doing it?
Comedians messing with day time news hosts is a sneaky national treasure
1:17 I'm rolling hard, at this point! Great interview!!!
Akaash, you were hilarious. She wasn't ready for you. You got on and made the segment funny which was great. You want people to go to your show, this was a great way to do it. Funny jokes to make people want to see more. She was totally unprepared for what happened hahah. I laughed the whole time.

this is too funny especially when she said I love having comedians on the show 😂😂
1:51....looks like you starting to get Fred up with this broad yo🤣. I need more lmao
LOOL Broooo Akaash a fool out in Michigan, thats the most action they had on air since the water debacle of 2015
That was amazing 👏
Its amazing that this million dollar news show is a step down from Flagrant 2! Audio is god awful, their cameras are from 1983 and I swear I saw rips in the film while watching this. Gifted him a garbage pair of sunglasses 🤣. I hope she doesn't love her husband like she loves comedians, kuz she only laughed one time 😅
if there was a live audience there, it'd have been filled with genuine laugh tracks lol
As a black man and native of Grand Rapids, Michigan....I agree about the questions. I didn't do any better answering those questions than Akaash did. Lol.
This woman is too serious it's hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
This is incredible 👏
had to check this out after yall hacklin on flagrant 2 about it.
was not, let down 🤣🤣
"Yeah!!!" Oh my goodness, I am crying right now!
The one thing to take away from this… the AUDIO. Flagrant needs to take a lesson from broadcast news and put some COMPRESSION on all of your voices. When the outbursts happen, it will keep everything at a nice even level and when someone is speaking softly, it will raise their audio up to match. The end.
I loved this so much. You should make a show out of making fox anchors uncomfortable with normal conversation.
Recently saw Akaash and Marky Gags in Tacoma and it was AMAZING! 100% recommend going to one of his shows!
crying laughing.. akaash we NEED a national media tour from you.
Oh my god you write a better sketch dude when he started addressing the cameras I lost my shit
I’ve also watched this three times now
Haven’t laughed that hard in a long time
“Back alley comedy club… that sounds fun” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looool this is purely “not made for tv” tv 😂 I need more of this.
Akaash, I loved you before this. Now, I'm madly in love with you. I really wish more people can witness how real you are and take some damn notes. And now I feel like a fool as I just realized that I didn't subscribe to you previously although I watch you several times a week.
i choked when he said "god is already doing that"
Cringing so hard but also laughing my ass off at you roasting the whole studio and the state of Michigan 😭😂😂😂😂
Lmfao.. Akaash killed it, that was a great interview.
1:16 this is just hilarious
This was really awkward 😂
This was amazing!! Akash you are a legend!
I woke up and saw this on the news I happy to see aakash even more happy to see how awkward this was😂 thank you for making this shitty state a bit better for a day🤣
You need a solo podcast man. Love you in flagrant, but I need more.
Time for him to level up
This!
no the peanut gallery in the back(now on the forefront) needs to pipe down and let the two actual comedians do their work.
Yeah yeah, people have affinity for the peanut gallery - I dont care for them.
I'm from the Netherlands, Holland was the kingdom when we were colonizing shit, also never heard of or seen a klompendans. I seriously wonder what kind of weird shit American imagine when they think of the Netherlands
I personally think wooden windmills, people wearing suspenders and those hats with the feathers, I imagine like a lot of greenery like hills and trees and shit. Old stone cottage in the woods with someone making pies or some shit…basically folktale setting 😂
@@smokeybear520 You are imagining Switzerland or Germany hehe. The Netherlands is flat with no mountains or hilltops at all, as a result of the landmass being almost entirely erected out of the water by people rather than a natural formation. Which is also why it has great roads, with the caviat of unfortunate speed limits. The closest thing to hills in the Netherlands are the many many dunes used as an ocean barrier. The country is a couple of meters below sea level after all, so the Dutch are very good with waterworks out of necessity.
@@Yodalemos That’s actually really interesting, thanks for bit of info !! Jealous of those roads, very rarely do I drive down a smooth one 😂
@MrMagOOo oh easily, I think there's like a 3 bike per capita
Akaash, is so good live. I saw him in Houston. I love that he keeps messing with camera 2.
😂🤣😂you got her right eye twitching slow … she really pissed 😡 🤣😂
Is Keith the one responsible for reaching the target audience because Fox 17 is clearly 10/10 👌
Brown always takes the crown!
Please do more live TV interviews, especially with news cast lol
So good ! And refreshing
If you haven’t seen him live go see him, Akaash is even funnier in person
You made that so awkward. I'm sure the demographic for that morning show was so happy to see your face and hear your jokes. #priceless
This absolutely made my day. 😂😂😂
To wake up early for this interview then having to do a night show must have been a grinding day for Akaash. I'm originally from Michigan & only Michiganders refuse to admit the unsavory reputation of Detroit that the rest of the world already knows.
