The Ecto from that line looks great. The biggest turnoff for me on XGB was the animation style, but that was the late 90’s. I did enjoy the introduction of Kylie in the IDW Comics
I'm sure you remember the episode where the original Ghostbusters came back, it's a shame we didn't get those figures
I didn't get into extreme ghostbusters too deep but I always had mad respect for Garret. Too bad he never got a commercially distributed figure of his own.

There was a prototype and it’s depicted online..but yeah- Garrett was a funny character for sure.
So weird you posted this as I was just looking at the Extreme Ghostbusters Ecto-1 on eBay last night because I remember having it as a kid.
I had Edwardo and Roland when I was a kid. That show was awesome and it still is. I'm a huge fan!!!

The bigger "tank" packs that Egon and Roland have, appear in the opening credits. Roland is leaning on one right at the very end. The toys seem to be based on concept art, a bit like how the original Kenner PKE meter was modelled after the one that appears in the promotional concept for The Real Ghostbusters. Which makes me wonder if there is a promotional video for Extreme Ghostbusters where they are wearing different uniforms.
Damn what a blast from the past, I wish that Hasbro or one of the two companies would bring them back and update them to look more accurate to the cartoon. Also I dont remember seeing Sam Hain in any episodes of extreme ghostbusters except the intro.

I used to have all egb toys and it was awesome, I hope in the future to remake egb figures and maybe props, just like how diamond select remaked trgb figures, when they make it probably will have garrett included since that figure wasnt released at that time
As someone who had the primary character figures (mix of regular and deluxe) and the ghost trap toy with proton gun I used for my custom Proton Pack, this is amazing.

Nice video! I never got into the Extreme Ghostbusters. Just the original Ghostbusters and The Real Ghostbusters. Nice collection you got there though.

I had a bunch of these but was always bothered by how exaggerated the proton-packs were size-wise. It was too "cartoony".
I loved these as a kid, nice!

not mine..that thing is factory mint. Not a scratch or ding on it. Its awesome with the gear on top. A new one from Diamond select would be cool.

IT HAPPENED TO ME ASWELL! In wallmart back in 1999 they were practicaly giving away all the EGB stuff and i didn't buy ANY, my mom was saying i should considere it and bla bla bla... but somehow i didn't want to spoil my RGB rememberings with new characters and series.. BIG MISTAKE BIG REGRET!
EGB -was- IS a great show and even RGB characters showed up in "Back To The Saddle" part 1&2 was fantastic..
1:18 how the heck did they make the ghost "spin" into the trap? I had that toy and don't remember that.
The deluxe version of egon's pack was used once the extreme Ghostbusters episode that had to do with clown ghost . And Roland's deluxe pack was used but the upper part was used by Janine as a containment tool to catch one of ghost that got out of the containment unit I think roland was in love with the Siren ghost and help her sister escape from the containment unit.
I still have a lot of the old 1990s action figures and some of the tod McFarland figures
I too was 13 in 97 and I felt the same when it came to buying the figures. I got the Ecto, I couldn’t pass up on her. Lol but yeh it was their outfits that sort of put me off.
The mouth critter I’m getting Little Shop of Horrors and a Bettlejuice vibe from it.

Loved the show, was so disappointed by the humans' likenesses. All I had was the purple ghost and Samhain. Pity about Kylie. And in regards to her, it's not just the IDW comic that's made her more known... hentai artist "ZONE" made an animated, um, short "starring" her, as well as some decent yet violently frisky art of her with Jack O'Lantern... >///>
I think I had Kylie and Roland along with the car. Maybe one of the ghosts too, don't remember anymore.
With the deluxe figures, is there any concern for battery corrosion.?
I have had the extreme Ghostbusters trap since 2001 that I hadn't opened. I broke down one day and opened it to let my kids play with it to find out the mechanism that's auto shuts the trap was broken inside 😥
Also the stickers no longer were sticky! Lol

If you know, trim masters, you should tell them to make them more extreme Ghostbusters toys, like you can make a lot of them from the intro from a theme song like you know in the beginning with dentist I think you should make some ghost from there from the figure make the goes to the stomach and goes fly out of it and this song you know what I’m talking aboutjust figures just make more extreme Ghostbusters toys
I have a regular Roland figure, still in the package, but the front says Eduardo. I wonder if that would be worth more for a mislabeled figure?
I remember when the cartoon aired i was nearly 13 and all i think of was i hope they make action figures. .
I had all the original EGB figs,
ecto 1, couple of the deluxe figs and even SAMHAIN which is pronounced sowin... just to let you know 😉

Hey Jason how are u doing today i wasent even born yet in 1987 but when I was 5 I remember I watched the animated TV show real ghost busters and extram ghosts I rember having the sate puff marshmallow man piggy bank but I had a house fire in 92 and lost it i was extremely mad when I lost that and the gum ball machine I had awee

I had no idea this show existed until about a year ago when I watched it on Hulu. And it was pretty good but not as good as the real ghostbusters. In my opinion.

I wasnt a fan of their gear. They looked less practical and more like prototypes than the previous. The storylines for the series were neat though.
Let me start off by saying I love your show but something has been bugging me from the beginning of this video. The Name is printed on the package. Do you keep mispronouncing Eduardo's name on purpose?
Ha! Believe me, I've been told! Unsure if it's something I picked up from living in Canada or the south, but the "Eld" and "Ed" has apparently been a blind spot for me that I only just realized.
