Yes and no. If it were heads of state King Charles III would have appeared for all 15 Commonwealth realms not just the UK

@@madabbafan When monarch of UK is not at the Commonwealth realm country, the Governor General can act as the head of state in their country.
So for Israel he put Herzog, who is the current president of Israel. However, in Israel, president is not head of goverment or anything like that. It's more of a ceremonial position.

Head of state is not the same as the head of government. In most cases the head of government (prime minister, chancellor, …) is the more relevant of the two but the video isn’t about them.

1:04 small mistake probably because of the language barrier saudi arabia is called “al mamlaka al arabia al saoudia” which translates to “the arabic kingdom of saudi” in the video they only said “al mamlaka” which means the “the kingdom” and didnt say the full name

He mostly goes abroad and does speeches about WWII or something. I recently had to look up whether Steinmeyer was still the President because I genuinely didn't know. That said, yeah, he is the President and Olaf Scholz is the Chancellor. The Chancellor is the one with the power whereas the President is the head of state who theoretically has the right to veto laws but in practice this is very rare and only occurs when the President feels like the law is unconstitutional.
