Oh thanks. I only had a few seconds to squeeze in both Ultimate Fighter & Baki The Grappler together. Thankfully, both anime adaptations had the same sequence which finished their fight.
I am so hyped for the Katsumi fight! That exchange was so manly that I actually cried *Manly tears*

I've seen this season after reading the manga, I thought it was cool since I heard many others weren't a fan of the season lol.
Plus, the OP and ED of the Pickle Wars were my favorite part about it too

I think the lack of enthusiasm comes from that everyone is fighting the same opponent, Pickle, instead of other new enemies. I was into the openings for both Pickle Wars & the Father & Son War. I did like the end theme more for the Father Son War over Pickle's.
The Miamoto Musashi arc is really cool

I think they can put the retsu boxing arc in like 4 or so episodes. That part is cool because I liked seeing Baki learn the cockroach dash. I think the most important part to me is the build up and dialogue before the yujiro fight even gets started. Really lookin forward to it.
I didn't get to read much from Retsu Kaioh Boxing as the manga chapters weren't translated at the time. (2014). So I wanted the anime to offer me the complete experience. My memory is blank in between Pickle & Yujiro.

I wasn't a fan of Baki Dou. Haven't been able to finish reading them.
Im pretty underwhelmed by the trailer's animation which seems to have had a pretty big downgrade from the last two seasons, the fight sections shown lack much movement and are back with those colored flashes of light to indicate movement, looks like a slideshow at times lol, maybe it was just bad picking. Other than that 24 episodes isnt a lot to cover what i believe is over 200 chapters so i hope they arent rushing it to get to the Baki vs Yujiro fight but then again i especifically remember this part of the story being very light on dialogue.
Jack vs Pickle is the one i want to see the most but Katsumi's fight is also awesome i really wonder how they're gonna showcase all of that detailed gore after the outcome of that fight
I've bumped into some analysis videos on the trailer regarding that subject. Although I didn't watch the video. I don't think animation will be much of a problem. Just about every cut in the trailer was about 3 seconds of action footage. Which is why I went with the still images instead. Even the previous Baki Kaioh tournament had some motion comic usage during the Yujiro & Kaku Kaioh fight. While I do expect some shortcuts, I don't think it'll ruin the Pickle experience. I can't picture TMS screwing up like Satelight has been to Rokudo's Bad Girls. I recall the series having a lot of inner monologues instead. And this would carry over into Baki Dou with Miyamoto's point of view when he experienced modern society. I'm eagerly awaiting the primitive carnage.
