- Massive Wind Storm | Dead Tree Removal
This past week we had a series of heavy rain accompanied with very strong winds. The last few videos I have spoke about this tree and how it wasn't safe to work around it.. We got very lucky and this dead standing tree fell towards the wood line.

Kevindavis good afternoon , I do apologies for the late response I have been traveling due to work. Thank you for taking time out of your day to not only watch but to comment as well.
Joe
Can not wait to see the progress
Yes it is starting to take shape
Evening Joe , nice job on feeling the trees . That one that came down on its own was spooky . I was like I don’t remember seeing him cut that one !! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Good afternoon Del, thank you! We have been watching that tree for the last few years because it always seem to break every wind storm.
Good job Joe. Those leaners can be tough to get down safely. I lost a couple trees on my land in the last wind storm. Fortunately, they came all the way down.
In those leaners I do a wide undercut on the stump end and then whittle away like a beaver at the top above the undercut. I put a strap on the upper part before I start and winch it when the cut is almost done.
Perfect I am sure I will have another blow down and or I will have one catch in another tree. I will try this.
Thank you stay safe!!
