@@MrModelworx 😆 The first time I saw it I thought Uncle Jesse. I just cracked open mine from 2015/16. I also recently acquired a 70 short bed and 68 Service bed...been watching HPIGUY (Chris’) older truck videos. 🤣 Anyway, keep up the great work my man! 😎👍🏾
I own a 70' shortbed very similar to your model. I grew up in the 60's n 70's here in SoCal. fell in love with American muscle after my first trip to lions drag strip at the age of 10. The year, 1970. Rode my Schwinn Sting Ray to school every day rain or shine! Love scale model builds. I have to say yours is sweet. Great work. Will check in on occasion to see what your latest project is. Keep up the good work!
Very nice indeed! This kit is back in stock, with limited quantities at Model Roundup. It does include the chrome rear bumper, in addition to the step bumper. Thanks for the build tips.
White's a tough color to pull off..... You nailed it.Beautiful build.Had a 69 F 250.....had a 360 V-8 4 speed with the granny gear.2 wheel drive.That truck could pull a tank out of a mudhole.🤣👍
+Charlie Mac Thanks mate this is one of my favourite builds, love this kit it was a real joy to put together, I wanted to go for the plain Jane look. That F250 of yours sounded like a beast !!
Great job Gary, 69 really turned out nice, I owned one of these back in the day, of course I replaced the six for a 351 and a C6 auto, brings back memories!!! Cheers Tom
What a cool truck!! Great job on this beauty. I just got a Hudson Hornet kit from Moebius, and found it to be very nice. Don't plan on building it so soon, but it was a great add to the stash. Will have to get one of their Ford pick ups too after watching your video. That is not helping me to keep the good 'ol bank account on green... Thanks a lot!! haha.
Thanks Tulio, no I agree these Moebius kits are not good for the bank balance but they ate so nice, if I could afford them I'd have more. I also have the Hudson Hornet to build someday, you will just love this pickup, mot's a dream to build.........apart from the windshield !.
Denver Pyle would've loved it. Very nice Gary, stock is so right. Hope it's going in a case. Uncle Jesse, Dukes of Hazzard, if you were wondering... there goes my 'Pointless' answer. lol. Wait, no, I've still got Antonio Fargas ;)
I am working on the 4x4 F-100 and I noticed that the cab was a bit warped. It sags in the middle. Could this be the reason that the clear parts are a hard fit?
I love this build. Just looking through old videos to get ideas for a current project. I have gathered inspiration from this. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Cliff!
I really enjoyed building this one, Uncle Jessie gave me the inspiration for this one! Lol.
It's very plain Jane, but I love that look.

Could well be Michael, I can't recall my cab being warped but the glass was very tricky.
no front shocks?
