1. Use gloves ( medical) and mask because Brake parts cleaner/WD 40 are carcinogenic.
2. Use 34 mm / 36 mm socket to open clutch this method damages the nut for sure.
3.First put the belt in the drive pulley and then the variator assembly .
4. Change the oil seals and O rings .

yeah i'd be more worried about taking those jabs mate over diy mechanics..
The rattle sound usually comes from the clutch shoes /the end metal or aluminum area/ touching the clutch bell. This happens when the pads are bellow minimum limit The shoes must be at least 2.0mm. When new, they are 3.3mm /example for Yamaha XMax 250i/. These pads lasts at least 60000km. Cleaning the clutch will fix the problem only if you feel shaking when drive off.

Thanks, Good job, but better to use the right tools such as 38mm spanner, the clutch assembly holder; and instead of roughly scrubbing off the brake shoes, some uniform way of scrubbing up, so also the clutch bell rubbing (inserting the bell in the reverse on the shaft and rolling the tyre while holding the emry paper would do better), else keep up the good work.

Thanks for the video but can I suggest using gloves and clean clothes or better still a parts cleaning machine much easier and thorough cleaning and degrees better than just rubbing with a oily clothes

hello, I have a 18-20 model honda pcx, but the cvt vibrates between 40 and 60 km, what could be the cause of the problem? Could it be from the rear movable pulley, is it because the working points of the movable pins in it make a worn gap?
why need the clutch outer drum to renew, can you explain please. ı have changed clutch pads . ı have still here the noise. ı have used drums that ı used before, cant ı use them again.

It is the sound of clutch shoe, because clutch rubber is not installed properly, i had removed the clutch rubber and the same sound was comming, and i installed the rubber then sound gone....
