If it’s good enough for Canelo and Loma, then it’s good enough for me

Hey BabyFace Boxing... What size is your headgear?
Im trying to work out what size to buy. My head is 22 3/4" circumference, and I am 5ft 10". Boxrec says that you are 5ft 11", so I would guess that whatever size you use is good for me.
I would really appreciate you telling me what size your headgear is.

I just found this channel. I wish I knew about it before I bought my annoying headgear...

A headguard is not to protect you from knockouts its designed to prevent cuts

I recommend the fg2900, it's way more comfortable. Its really protective, your nose is well protected. Maybe once in a while will you get a punch go through. The reason I think its better is the padding. The padding on is way more forgiving. On the fg5000 its pretty hard and doesn't absorb the hit.

Hello! Nice review, do you still feel the hits, I got the Cleto Reyes but after some heavy shots I got headaches, what do you think should I upgrade? Thanks!
In which one you felt less the hits?

So it’s more protective if you get hit, but you will be getting hit a lot more wearing it lmao. Go for open face winning it’s cheaper you can actually see and your nose will be protected just fine. Good review though!

Lol your nose definitely won’t be protected with open face

Winning was too small for me. Im 6'2 230 lbs. The face bar smashes into my nose. To be fair i have a very European nose.

Fg2900 is better, it doesn’t make your face a dog face lol. If you really want face saver everlast Mx head-saver (I am NASM member so all everlast items are 50%, if you have a NSAM Coach, have them buy it for you. You can get mX for $100, or go with title no contact pvc shield. No matter what you wear your priority must be ability to escape punches and if the head gear makes your face larger or longer like a duck then don’t go with it
