Hi do you think its possible to get someone to change the belt buckle on FLY to a clip like the winnings? Thats the only problem I have with the Superbar and the X variants the belt and buckle really sucks compared to clip.

I would say the Fly has a similar room to the winning
@@Fit2Box yes, but the bar was just touching my nose and with any jab the bar would push my nose, do you think that a size L can improve that and would fit me better (giving me more nose space or maybe would be too big)? Many thanks!

I’ve heard the golden colour tends to fade after some time..
Mine has been fine but I have seen some that have really dulled to like a bronze colour

Interesting, I wonder what medical research, if any, has gone into the radical downsizing of this Fly headguard. Compared side by side with the winning it looks like a child’s helmet, and the winning is regarded as one of the smaller helmets on the market. Companies are always on the lookout to reduce weight and size of their products. Outdoor clothing companies in particular strive to reduce the weight of their GoreTex rain jackets - and always at the expense of durability and functionality. If you look at the evolution motor cycle and push bike helmets, in a way a similar product to boxing head guards, those two type of helmets have increased in size over the years, to enhance safety.
I think the smallness is much better , presents a smaller target so ultimately you don’t get hit as much hugely impressed by it💥💥💥
I’ll be keen to see if many/any elite Pros ditch winning for the Fly
Mark May I think lots of pros wearing Fly gloves and groin guards to train in so I would fully expect to see the superbar doing the same🔥🔥
yea but ultimately research has shown that headgear doesnt protect you from damage, it it is meant to protect you from cuts. you could actually argue that a larger headgear would cause more damage to you since it it is a bigger target. may be the padding is less dense and the shots may hurt more, but the brain will be rattled the same way and cause the same amount of concussion/brain damage.

About the same as they both are aluminium cages that can be manipulated to give more nose room if needed

@@Fit2Box No way Rd 4 was a 10-8 round....Rd 11 10-10 though the buckle isn't comfortable and puts you in the midframe of Cleto Reyes. Yes I have tried them both. The padding is just not there in the fly. That easily could be a 10-8 Rd for the FG-5000 Its a SMALL headguard. A really small headguard.
