You are truly an inspiration. I have been so unhappy cleaning that I don't realized how peaceful it can be. Today I choose an piano music background, our Portuguese Maria João Pires, and I cleaned my kitchen, tidyed the living room and now it's time to relax. I even dressed a little better today and I am at home. So, I feel accomplished and happy. Thank you so much!

Hi Jennifer this is one of my favourite videos of yours. It's so peaceful and watching you do your cleaning, makes me realize that you can turn a mundane job into something beautiful. And doing things together, energy shared even over the internet in quietness is one of the most self nurturing things I can do for me! I have a messy lounge - dust having fun gathering over countless books, my printer which I moved in here temporarily but never moved back, piles of opened letters, papers and art supplies everywhere, even shoes and some laundry that needs folding!!!.So thank you for being so inspiring - I am off to grab... no more elegantly I am off to gather my cleaning products and spend a productive, peaceful, gentle time cleaning my lounge with you.

I would love to have opportunity to clean house quietly without interruptions from family!
You need to send them outside :)
It is possible, you have to set the tone. Children are to go outside and play if you have fenced in yard, or they are to occupy themselves with a book, or game. Better yet, dad can run errands with them in tow, or just take them out for some bonding time. I have never been able to grasp that concept that some parents( especially mothers) have, that the kids are in charge of the home🙄
@@TheDailyConnoisseur , my kids are 19 and 14 doing online school all day. Hubby working from home and he’s easily annoyed by “sounds of house”🙄. We need to have everyone back in classroom and office because I am losing my mind!

But, my kids are 5 and 3 and 1, and literally cry the entire time if I’m not outside with them too. How can I encourage them to be happy outside without me?
You can try giving them a bucket with a cloth and a little brush or broom. They can clean along with you. I know that sounds silly but try it it makes them feel important. Not that it works all the time.... But as every mom knows we have about five different things too redirect, distract or keep the kids entertained at all times. (Paper and crayons always at the ready or tell them to go find three different leaves outside in the yard and then come back and draw them etc etc. Hang in there! It is Not easy! When they grow up you'll miss them being under your feet. Now I just tell them to go do their chores and it's funny how quickly they disappear. 😂 ❤️ #Not-easy #Mom-stuff

How often do you clean/dust your blinds? I have noticed since moving to SoCal that our home, and especially our blinds, gets dusty more quickly...an almost gritty dust after Santa Ana winds have blown through, even if we do not open the windows.
