    K1 max uses a main powered bed unlike k1/k1c use 24V dc power which is why K1 max is more power efficient. Also K1 max has a LAN port which is absent in both k1 and k1c, pity. Will have to wait and see if there will be a K1C max release in future, which brings all the new and improved features of k1c to the k1 max.

    I went with the K1 as I did t have much space where it was to be sited. I'd buy a K1 again, so far it's been great

    Would definitely buy my k1 max again. Been a great printer to get into the hobby. Build plate volume was #1, camera#2 , ai detection/Lifar was #3 but i dont use it anymore. #4 better appearance and was within my budget.

    I think it's a matter of space and price. If you can afford it, get the Max. I upgraded from a base model Ender 3 Pro, I sold that to buy my K1, and I have a supplemental Ender 2 Pro on the same table next to it, while I didn't have the money to buy the max and the 2 pro, I wouldn't have had enough space for either as well. But after a month of use, I can say without question I do not regret either purchase.

    I tend to design large items that require the 300x300 build volume. It's disappointing that the zig-zag takes up so much space on the build plate. And it's also disappointing that they didn't come out with a K1C Max. The ideal printer for me would be a K1C Max (or the K1C with a 300x300 build volume). But if I can't benefit from the extra build volume, then I might as well just spend the extra cash for the X1-Carbon and take my business over to Bambu Labs (regrettably).

    I am still struggling with the decision to either buy the K1 Max or the Bambu P1S. They are both roughly the same price at the moment. Advantage of the K1 Max obviously is the bigger bed and I think I do need that. Advantage of the P1S is the possibility to add an AMS and be able to print multi colour which is very (!!) nice to have but not strictly necessary and expensive. At the moment the bigger bed is very apealing. But the endless number of video's with all kinds of issues with the Creality machines are pushing me towards the Bambu as I have no experience with printing and I am not a technical buff that can easily solve all the issues with the Creality machines.

      @@Smoovs1956Meanwhile I ordered a P1S with AMS. But I am also drooling over the FLSUN machines. Ofcourse the V400 but there are a couple of mouthwatering new enclosed machines about to be released by FLSUN. When I need a second machine it is going to be an FLSUN. So before you decide to send your P1S back, take a good look at all the Creality K1 Max horror video's en maybe get inspired by FLSUN V400, T1 or S1.

    Olá. I don't know that there is a word for that type of tool generically, but I've heard that exact tool referred to as a "nozzle wrench" or "nozzle socket." The pliers as you call them can be referred to as "nippers" or "flush cutters."

    "fattig" ooohh... you meant "fatigue". Dang subtitles.🤣😂
    Definitely going to go for the K1 Max, the built volume looks good enough for full sized helmets.

    Hello Wesley, I have a Ender 3 Pro and a Ender 3 S1 Plus (300x300x300). I´m rigth now buying a K1Max or a K1C, I don´t kow very well. I like de K1C for its capability to proces carbon fiber materials, but I like de size of K1Max. I writing you because I cant find this infrmation, is there any kit to convert the K1Max en carbon?

    Should mention we're on our 3rd generation of extruders for the k1 and k1 max, and something needs to happen with the scandal about the extruder for the k1c. Where is there a reliable all metal extruder for this machine?

    Nominal power for k1 is around 150W and for k1 max the nominal power is around 350W, if the printing time is the same for both the printers then how on earth they both have the same power consumption! Strange 😮

    K1c vs Max in terms of features and capabilities?

  • @Immolate62
    @Immolate62 Před 6 měsíci +3

    I prefer the K1 Max, which is why I bought it. It's all about the build size. I would have bought the Bambu Max instead, but it doesn't exist. To Creality's credit, the Max has been the only printer I've owned that comes close to the reliability of the Bambu's. If it continues in this manner, it will be a keeper for me. The K1/K1C simply isn't big enough.
    Typically, we would call the cover of the printer "the lid."

    • @boitmecklyn4995
      @boitmecklyn4995 Před 4 měsíci

      Not a fan of the fact that the K1 Max has a flat lid compared to the K1's shaped lid. I feel like if the K1 max had a similar lid that it'll eliminate feeding issues.
