@Libtards Still Cant Silence Me 13 was he a conscientious objector? We had a dude like that. Said he was Muslim and couldn’t fight against his “brothers”. Same type of move on our COP. I was given a symbol my Dad's old ship once. Grey Jersey T-shirt with "USS NASSAU LHA-4" Written on it. I wore it once. Once. Some people asked if it was my ship. No, dude, scrapped when I was a teenager. I didn't feel like telling the real story (as I knew it) over and over again all day so I turned it inside out for the day and never wore it again.
I still feel terrible about it and that was just a t-shirt.

I was stationed on the Nassau from 1994 to 1996. Great ship snd crew.
i can understand regarding ships as it’s something folks will ask about as they might be former sailors on them or like you had family on them, they serve for two decades and have hundreds if not thousands of sailors going through. and conversely there’s the whole “what kind of ship is that” since they come and go over the years and a lot of places never see them visit or are inland and have no idea about the ships

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. I truly believe the Army failed you by not allowing you to continue to grow professionally. You would’ve made a great 1SG or SGM. Hell based on MOS, you would have been a great choice for a Warrant Officer. Hell I’ve shared your videos with MAJ’s , LTC’s, even full Bird Col.’s and they laughed their asses off. They weren’t offended at all. Then again they all were old infantry grunts. If Army leadership finds your videos offensive, then they should watch the cringe show on TikTok from a lot of Sr.NCO’s and young LT’s. At least with your videos you shine a light on some of the dumb shit that goes on in the Army, but make it funny and relatable. Keep up the great work brother . Evidently you haven’t watched a lot of CZcams or Tiktok which were made by senior NCOs and junior grade officers whose careers haven’t been in jeopardy and have made promotion even though their shit is cringe. Hell a lot them are more offensive than what Richard’s been doing. You might also want to do your homework and see what SSG.HY has accomplished in his career along with glowing letters of recommendations. I’m retired now so I can say I give 2 fucks about your opinions and would gladly tell you to go fuck yourself, because you really sound like a whiny Officer. Plus I’m willing to bet if your still in the service , you probably work behind a desk or work in a support company. @The Looinrims, I guess you missed my point to where I said I have done my due diligence know what his career background and accomplishments were. The reason why he was stuck at Staff Sergeant was because of his videos. His command didn’t like him using his social media platform to go after senior NCOs and officers which is bullshit if they fuck up then we should know about it. It’s not like the army times ever publishes anything about their fuck ups. Then I ran his file and the letters that were written on his behalf for him to attend weren’t answer school and upper chain of command turned him down stating that he has brought dishonor and too much weight on stories that really matter. Never said he should be promoted based upon his funny video status nothing to do with anything. However you should be graded on your performance record and seeing that he’s never had any disciplinary problems, great PT scores, and held good leader ship positions that’s what should’ve made him promotable.

I can attest this is a real thing with drill sergeants my grandfather was a World War II army Air corps drill sergeant and a sheriff for 15 years he raised my father who served three tours in Vietnam as usn ECM reconnaissance 65 to 68 want to talk about someone pissed and watching their neck bones pop out yeah that right there. My whole life was disciplined martial arts Marksmanship and a hell of a lot different trades but they gave me the tools to succeed in anything I ever encounter and I have forever grateful to them for that although I didn't have much of a childhood so much as a John Connor guerilla warfare combat experience

Thank you so much for your service...my late dad was in the Navy during 'Nam...he passed from Renal Cell Carcinoma in 2017..he was exposed to it on shore leave in 'nam, and it sat dormant for decades, only to manifest in 2015. He was *so* proud of his service, and he was buried with full military honors. Seeing you take up for the *true* heroes and their families that serve so selflessly (My dad always told me that it's never *just* that person that joins the military...the entire family joins along with him/her) makes me so very happy.
