I'm of Chinese origin and I have never seen myself as a victim. I'm proud of being British and of my Chinese heritage and have been successful through hard work. I have had the same opportunities as anybody else despite a working class background and would never describe myself as being oppressed. I didn't work in a nail bar, I have worked in Higher Education all my life. This ideology is a very backward step and making huge divides by making an issue of the colour of one's skin.
Many Chinese & East Asians have similar values to the British people of a couple of generations ago - hard working, appreciate education & want to be self reliant & not live off benefits. Brits need to get back to this mindset. Africans never will.

I may have an answer to the so-called "white privilege" problem. I call it... "getting a job." I also think much of what's labeled "racism" these days is in reality wariness, trepidation, and possibly anxiety as a result of historic, unpredictable behavior. But that's just me.
Civilisation is very much like a rewards scheme. The longer the membership and more points you accrue through effort, the more privileges you obtain. At least that's what one should expect. If you don't receive such recognition for loyalty, then contributions to the scheme will diminish.
So if white privilege exists, perhaps it has been well earned.

I've seen her before and as any discussion progressed she usually gets more agitated and aggressively tries to dominate without wanting to listen, her body language with this interview was very similar and she was gradually getting reved up especially wanting to dominate the conversation and gesticulating with her hands and fingers, it didn't quite work with Jacob though probably because of his calm thoughtful and controled manner but you could see and sense that she wanted to rant in her usual argumentative dominating way.. she doesn't look underprivileged to me, rather the opposite.

She talks rubbish! Rather than drawing comparisons between Asians and Blacks, why not explore the differences between direct immigrants from Africa and those arriving from the Caribbean? The former do far better than the latter here in the UK, where most white people have no idea of the difference between them.
ive often thought this as europe as a whole is vastly different so why would africa be any different, just not had enough of a good sample pool of people who i trust to talk straight to get an answer.
