- 4k Driving. Redding is a city in Northern California. Turtle Bay Exploration Park includes an arboretum, botanical gardens and a museum with natural history exhibits. Spanning the Sacramento River, the Sundial Bridge is a suspension bridge that also acts as a huge, working sundial. West, Shasta State Historic Park holds the ruins of an 1800s gold-rush mining town. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area has waterfalls and a lake.

I was born and raised in redding. I left 3 years ago because of how poorly California is being handled bu democrats
I lived in Redding for 3 years left in 1981 I was always amazed how things looked with palm and pine trees in the same area. Oh and the smell of manzanita after a rain....😊

@@mr.joshua204 Yeah my wife and I went back to visit back a number of years ago it definitely seemed depressed...But breakfast was good at the Black bear diner....Used to be Jerry's on Hilltop drive lol.

@@davop4919 I left to idaho after my wife was followed by sex traffickers. I don't like being in a state where I'm literally not allowed to defend myself or my family. And all the jobs left state for obvious reasons
