    the baffle you decided not to install is probably to keep hot engine bay air from entering the intake ... no?

    Like 4/5 months ago I put my Dinan intake on... I was searching for instructions on the brackets....... I find a video install months later and he does the same shit I did. Just throw it on and let it hang. I zip tied it’s out can be a lil more secure

      and of course, like this guy you say nothing about power gains if any. Nice job. For pete's sake.

    Dude.... how can I say this nicely. Ah.. when you make videos like this you have to be more self-aware, put yourself in the place of your audience and answer the logical questions they will be asking. For example, (like you have seen for comments below already) how much faster was it? did this make a difference in performance, or even responsiveness, or anything related to the driving experience besides sound? Most of us if not all of us would not go through the trouble and expense to do this if all we got was 'better sound', so you owe it to your audience to disclose that fact if indeed that is the case. Sounds like the power is the same but just sounds better, is that accurate ?

    I found an e36 m3 automatic with the trans pulled out on offer up and I really want to get it and manual swap it but I've never really worked on cars. I think I might do it and fly by the seat of my pants and ask some people for help. I want a manual car but I don't really want to buy a new one so I think this would be a good option. The m3 I was looking at was a little rough but I think it's mostly fine

      They are awesome cars and buying an auto is a good way to get in at a lower price point. That's the same reason I ended up with this one! -JC

      Exactly, the question we all have and the one he doesn't not even address. Crazy.

    Seriously? You call the video an "Install" and don't show the Install? This is worthless outside of showing off.

      Maybe with silicone coupler and reducer for the smaller MAF. But this is dangerous on a street car, filter that low to the ground could get wet in the rain, and if you run a "rain sock" to protect it then you are choking it and what's the point.

    Worth it???

    • @RADPotential
      @RADPotential  Před 3 lety +1

      I think it is worth it for the sound alone. However, if you have a loud exhaust already it may not be worth it as you probably won't hear the induction noise over it.

      this intake + a not too loud exhaust = perfection👌LOVE the intake sound

    That metal peice that u didn’t put in wa so hot air does not get sucked into your engine lmao now you have a hot air intake which prolly lost u 5-10 horsepower
