Nice review guys. I'm surprised they don't bring this Spanish brand to the States, it's a great car, it could definitely sell here. It's a little pricey, but it could gradually attract lot of buyers.

Seat ST Cupra looks a lot better than Golf R Variant. Carbon model Matte paint and copper detailed wheels so very nice.
Gotta say with the dash although quite nice and neatly laid out is very similar in style with 2017 Elantra ( Hyundai ).
Seat got Beat-en by Ford with Bang and Olufsen audio. Would be nice if automakers' work in conjunction with the audio manufacturer to maybe implement one mini subwoofer either side of the rear compartment so a proper spare wheel/tyre ( not space saver ) can be again be placed where it should be. Great review Brian!

I have the option to change from an ordered "normal" Cupra 300 4Drive, to the Carbon Edition. I know that the Exhaustsystem from the Cupra 300 4Drive is an disappointment compared to the non-ST Cupra 300.
Whats about the Exhaustsystem within the Carbon Edition. Is there an explicit improvement to the "standard" Cupra 300 ST 4Drive?

I’ve now had my ST 300 4 drive for 2 months I absolutely love it, a great family car with hidden demons ! It’s insane the power that you get. I’d love to see you doing a review taking on the golf R on a race track. Just a note will VW Golf GTD’s and GTI’s stop trying to take this car on, you have no chance . I’ve owned both and swapped my GTI for this car because I needed an estate and it’s far better looking then the golf estate. Great review as usual 👍🏻the st gets a lot of attention when out.

Same as you here - traded from a Octavia VRS mk3 and couldn't be happier :) ...and I love the sleeper quality of this car - love to surprise and annoy some "superior" cars :)

I seriously like that Leon. I have a Golf highline but maybe I should have looked at these ones. To bad there are not a lot of garages compared to VW and Audi garages. Probably a VAG decision.

Great review, but Thomas, pls tell Brian how to grab a steering wheel (at 3 and 9). Its a small detail but its hard to watch😅 it just looks wrong

Autogefühl yes and I saw there is a start up and one shifting fart but automantv for example is delivering more about the sound part and see the car driving by so it would be nice from you to add a bit more of sound file when you have a sports car(starting up, reving, shifts) just very short. Just an idea to make you even better. But otherwise great review as always.
And my dealership told me the carbon parts and this exhaust will be available separately later this year you got any infos about that?

Do you think that if I am 184 cm could I fit in these seats with integrated headrest or do I have to chose standard seats with normal headrest?

Why is it that Seat cars always look nicer from the outside compared to the plastic inside that feels like it belongs in a car from 15 years ago. Seriously that dash doesn't belong in a "special" version of a car. I would be angry if I got those ugly dash materials in a Polo.
You are obviously biased - owned a Skoda Octavia VRS mk3 before the Cupra and the interior materials were the same. Be inside any VW Golf and materials are the same. Not sure what you going on about.

The R looks Sooooo much better, but a few optics don't justify the extra 15-20k price difference.

i dont understand what the technical.difference is compared to 300 cupra performance pack. is it only those few carbon details that cost 9000 more??? same horsepower?? is the suspension or tires different??? why would i buy this over performance edition???

Fantastic I was about to order a normal Cupra 300. It looks that seat are no longer taking orders. I believe the new emissions is causing issues and that when seat allow new orders the cars will be 290.

Yeah, all 5dr 300's registered after September will be 290bhp. I ordered in May and mine has been affected. They have also reduced the options you can spec on them now too. There's a standard Cupra and a Cupra lux which includes electric leather seats and kessy, winter pack, etc ... The performance of the St version is unchanged. The ordering opens back up in August.

Wisst ihr warum eure Abgasanlage so laut furzt beim schalten? Ich habe schon eine Carbon Edition in echt gefahren und der Sound ist gleich wie beim normalen ST auch auf CZcams hat keiner dieses furzen auch mein Händler hat mir gesagt dass das vom Sound das gleiche ist warum ist eurer dann so laut?
Now Leon Cupra ST Carbon was 370hp 2.0T, That Cupra 300hp is to slow...
