Today's Season 4 episode takes place in San Antonio at the home of the first sneaker customizer featured, Jake Danklefs aka Dank Customs. It was great to watch this. True OG sneakerhead: doesn't wear/buy for the hype, knowledge behind the shoes, and seems to be humble about his collection.
As to the kids out there becoming interested in the shoe game. Learn from this guy. Buy into what you like, not the hype. Also, take the time to educate yourself about the shoes, companies, & artists out there. What truly separates the hypebeast from the "True Collectors." (Passion over Popularity)
As you can see, there are some ignorant people leaving comments saying this collection is nothing. Learn from those people too. Obviously they don't know what they're talking about. They're plenty a lot of older folks that came into the game late, hypebeasting hard to catch up.
