- Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan became a popular player in our Kicks On Court race this past season. He wore 15 different Jordans in the Raptors' first 15 games, debuted the "Gem Green" Foams on court midway through the season, and finished the year off in a series of Kobe 8 iDs. However, if you think DeMar only owns what you saw on court this season, think again. In the final episode of Sneak Peek Season 2, DeRozan takes us inside his shoe room full of Kobes, Foams and low-top Jordans we haven't seen in years.

It never fails every time I watch one of these videos somebody is always in the comments talking down collecting shoes. Saying "I don't see what's the big deal" Wtf are you doing watching the video then? Like really. Also the "maybe instead of spending money on shoes you could give to charities?" How do you know they don't give to charities a lot of athletes,millionaires, and even billionaires came from the struggle. You don't always gotta be superman to everybody. The celtics would be a good fit, they need a star player and DeMar may not be a 'Star' he can still drop 20 consitsantly if they pick him up for about a 4/80 contract pair him up with Marcus Smart, Isaiah Thomas, Bradley, Crowder, And his former good buddy Amir Johnson can influence him to join the team... They will have plenty of trade options including their several brooklyn picks to trade for potentially another star player.. They are headed in the right path especially with a coach in Brad. If DeMar goes to the Celts it will be the next dynasty potentially winning 55-63 games next season... Coming from a Knicks fan.

DD and Lowry can't carry the team to a ring, however if they get an Andre Drummond or Al Horford I would say they are a Finals lock in the east. In that case DD is staying put.

Hailing from Toronto I love my raptors and I've seen DeMar play in some of these kicks. I like his collection cause they're clean and I like How Demar holds them and rubs them as he talks about the memories. He wears his shoes and doesn't just stare at them. Collecting sneakers isn't about who has the best closet or cleanest gallery of shoes. How many people are gonna know what's in your arsenal if you dont show them off and be proud, sneakerheads.
Even though he messed up on the flighter jets when they're called fighter jets, I have so much respect for this dude because he is actually a great player I enjoy watching him play.

I know this is a hobby and it is definitely a good way to keep occupied, but can you guys start a trend that will help kids that are not as financially sound as your are? My take is if you would be about the money, I mean learning about fiances and the Wall Street game. So instead of collecting shoes which has NO value why not focus on collecting stocks. The very same resources that are used for buying those grossly overpriced shoes could fund an investment portfolio and since your fans are young they can learn how to invest aggressively over the years and create real baller $$$. That is the kind of information that black men need to share with young black boys. Besides it is almost impossible to steal someones stock portfolio, or real estate.....
I would much rather invest in the process. Getting a distribution everytime you people give up that money to posses walking tool. LOL. Really, there is investing and then here is foolishness.

You have no idea. Buying and selling shoes is a big thing for kids nowadays and many of my friends have made good amounts of money doing this. Now is it a good idea for low income kids to buy a new pair of Js? Probably not, but teaching children about stocks is just not practical

The internet is full of resources so if you look for nonsense that is exactly what it will show you. You need to find a mentor like a banker, financial planner, or someone involved in money to teach you those skills. It is not rocket science and time is on your hands. Don't be foolish to believe that you will grow wealthy by following the herd. Carve your own pathway and be the example.

That was only in high school. Now I'm in UC Riverside studying Business Economics, doing the thing you're describing. All hustle is the same, you shouldn't looking down on people who do this as a living than doing this as a hobby. And I'm not the one to be smart. As a first generation Asian American, I know how it's like to not have money and to constantly spend time working side jobs to create capital. Game should recognize game, no matter what or how it is. It only proves there are motivated, passionate and hungry people in this world who are always paper chasing.
