  • This evening we headed outside of KL city in search of Malaysia's LONGEST Market!!! This is another place we were told we had to visit while in Kuala Lumpur. So we hopped on the MRT and spent the evening at Taman Connaught Night Market. This market takes place every Wednesday from 5pm-1am and thousands of locals attend and walk up and down this 2KM long market!
Follow along as we enjoy the good smells, good food and good company of the Malaysian people!

Hey, we're Eoin and Aisling, a couple from Ireland who have packed their bags, waved goodbye to home and set off to travel the world in search of new adventures!
We started our journey by spending 3 months walking from the top to the bottom of Croatia and exploring a few of the boarding countries. Then at the start of January 2022 we hopped on a flight to South East Asia!
We hope to be in this part of the world for the next year, but who knows what might happen along the way, our plans are forever changing!
We tend to plan each day as it comes and can't wait to see what the world has in store for us!
    Peace out x

@@EoinandAisling Yes, d open markets were mostly closed during d last two years pandemic n lockdown. If there was, d crowd r not d same. Just to let u guys know, there r hundreds of open markets throughout peninsular Malaysia, Sabah n Sarawak. Most of d open night markets r located near d housing areas. There is a quite popular pasar malam, night markets in d middle of d city on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman on Saturday night, but I'm not sure whether it's back in operation for d public. Glad that u guys went to that popular pasar malam, endless choice of street food. 😁

Hi 👋 i am your new subscriber 😊 if you have a time. Do visit to Kluang, Johor as that’s my hometown. Popular place there we have oldest cafe in Malaysia that called as Kluang Railway Coffee. Located in Kluang train station as you can see train come as it so near to that cafe. Built during British colonial time around 1930s. You should try to have a sip their homemade coffee with toast bread as their spread for that bread also their own recipe. Then I suggested to you have night train from Gemas, Negeri Sembilan to Tumpat, Kelantan by KTM Train as they have double decker bed and everything you want such as food also included in that train coach 😊 we called that train trip as “jungle train” as through jungle at certain places or station. That train coach are old or antique train coach 😊 i will share to you guys later on certain places i can give suggestions to you guys can visit in my country here 😊 enjoy your trip here
