Coca Cola has been used for decades to match patina on new parts on an antique gun. In usually about three weeks, the parts look 150 years old. The key is a very good de-grease beforehand.

I've seen enough of these that I can guess with a high degree of accuracy how many cuts there were by the length of the cutting footage and pile of rope poo. I had 315 cuts.

Hey Pete , that's a good number at 17° , but I wonder how tuff the edge is , if it will hold up against cardboard ,plastic ties ,and other real world use .
