      A local theatre company where I live uses both moving heads and moving mirrors in their musicals.

    Scanners also are easier to program for since they don't circle around annoyingly

    twenty years ago, the mark of a great beam was a spinning gobo... the spinning prisms (and prisms in general) look so cheap these days
