Thanks for the honest reviews and information
Thank’s bro!
I want to see the insides of these things. And the Gamma units as well. I can’t just take your word for it that they’re well made; I want to see the build quality for myself.
Honestly, I have to really challenge you on this. Most if not all purchases in stage lighting happen because the buyer TRUSTS the manufacturer based on their reputation, the input of others who have used the lights, and the quality of the output/look and feel of the light. I could personally buy (2) GAMMA, Volux, ADJ, Chauvet, or any other brand lights and take one and switch out all the motors and power components with really cheap versions and motors that failed QC. The two lights would look the same on the inside. One would be terrible in operation and longevity, the other would perform well. People don't tear down products just to make a buying decision - occasionally, yes, but most often they do not, because it's not necessary and isn't guaranteed to give you useful information.
Always educative
Hello David. Love your content!
Any thoughts on using Sound Switch for live bands?
Don't bother. Get the Wolfmix W1. No need for a laptop!
The spot reminds me of the Martin ERA one
They’re all chinese lights
Ngl they are kinda cute.
Speaking of reputable Lighting brands, what is your opinion on shehds lighting?
Claypacky robe Martin and SGM and GLP are some of the best you can get tbh
From experience, Shehds has bad quality control and I’ve had many issues with their lights. If you can afford something different then don’t get Shehds lights.
Another Chinese fake?
Show us the mechanical part, the electrical part, how it works, the build quality, the quality of the electronics and wires...
They’re all chinese imports… I am also interested in the real quality (and safety) of the components inside
