Detailed Saab 9-3 Fender Replacement

Man you helped so much! Thanks to such detailed instructions, I replaced the rusty fender with an original one in good condition today, after waiting for several months. I delayed replacing it because I was afraid of rusty screws that would be impossible to unscrew, and I was right. 3 screws - the one attaching the headlight to the fender and the two below I had to remove using brute force and a grinder :). Anyway, the whole operation took me a little over 3 hours.

I have a 07 9-3 Aero Convertible....
I have a rubber hose on the right side on the engine running from manifold, coming up next to my battery....I have no idea where to connect it to...
Or, is it for drainage...

Hey Gary, the plugs that you are wondering about are not factory. You have them on your side skirts as well and judging by the black paint underneath the fender, probably someone has tried to rust proof the vehicle.

Thats a very good point! My other 9-3's didn't have the plugs so I bet you're right!!

Hey have you ever had those wheels on the Saab refinished? The clear coat is failing on my wheels and they are the same as yours. They seem almost 2 tone.
