Thank you indeed 'SIR' Clive Sinclair with genius inventions with C5, ZX80, ZX81 and ZX Spectrum's.
R.I.P Sir sinclair, a man ahead of time.
Love the modifications, massively improving performance while been sympathetic to the original aspirations. Sir, I salute you.
Cool rhats some wiring well done 👏🏼
Well, it looks as if Clive the C5 will be around for quite a while thanks to your patience and updated propulsion system. Very nice job. I never did understand why the motor didn't drive both rear wheels, and incorporate regenerative braking, regen had been used on many electric vehicles then, especially of course DC electric trains.
God, the music.
Wow Tyrone, that's astonishing! Sir Clive should have hired you to design this and I bet the C5 would have been a successful seller! All those short-comings you mentioned are really why the C5 was wrongly marketed and failed to sell in the UK. It was really a glorified toy car, or perhaps more generously, the first electric bicycle, but woefully underpowered due to the sheer weight and lack of gearing.
beautiful restomod. im planning on doing similar mod but using ebike parts.
I noticed you have a vehicle registration plate. Due to the changes you made, did you have to vehicle-type register it and get it licensed for road use, or is that just for show?
Hi Ty, do you still live in Heiloo? Recently a proud owner of a C5 myself living in Heiloo as well! I'm looking to upgrade to lifepo batteries myself. Are there any concerns/ mods I have to take in account?
